It's a waste of time.

But don't worry, with these cliché characters, it's predictable to work out who dies first and so on.

On the top 10 worst movie bucket list .

Distasteful and Predictable .

Kept me on the edge of my seat and had me jump back a few times.

With the bulk of the film comprising of predictable shocks (one character's death is a pale imitation of Samuel L.

Okay, so you have to actually think and write a decent script rather than a predictable one.

The plot was only sometimes exciting.

Waste of time .

Very suspenseful .

It had some thrilling moment's that were tense and was an enjoyable ride that was fast paced.

Suspenseful and Nerve Wreaking .

How I managed an hour is beyond me and I can watch even the most tedious of films.

This was seriously so intense, the shark scenes are crazy!

The death scenes were non-gory and nicely captured with stunning cinematography; at one point, you see the reflection of blood as a red glow in the ruins--visually captivating.

Trite and undeveloped.

The most enjoyable part of this film was easily the final act even though it's naturally way over the top.

It was more unpredictable whereas this one had more predictable moments of a shark popping out.

The movie was engaging, it will keep you at the edge of your seats.

The acting is puke inducing, the plots are so predictable, and my lord FIX THE VFX ON THESE SHARKS!!!

After a very slow and wobbly start it gets better .

A thriller, regardless of its terrain, needs to be thrilling.

It was an entertaining movie for me and my girlfriend and would recommend it for a good creature feature horror/thriller.

Nevertheless, the first movie was a tense and just clever enough shark thriller whereas "47 Meters Down: Uncaged" is a mediocre, utterly predictable and shallow blockbuster.

The Shark scenes are scary as hell & so intense i was on the edge of my seat lol!!.

It is a cheesy shark film with the most predictable plot and ever worse acting followed up with terrible effects.

After watching the original 47 Metres Down, I had high hopes for this film and buckled down for a thrilling night of sharky goodness with the wife.

Her back story was also quite boring.

It's a silly movie but like I said it's very entertaining and delivers on the things that people want to see in a movie like this.

It had its moments and it had it's flaws, but overall it was pretty enjoyable and entertaining.

Literally the worst movie I've ever seen .

Tonight, an unexpected sequel to one of these is my first review, hoping to bring the same suspense and thrills that the first one did.

Yet, this movie somehow manages to make the setting into one of the most boring experiences.

First of all, I must start by saying that "47 Meters Down: Uncaged" is definitely as good and entertaining as the first movie turned out to be.

So thrilling!.

The movie provide plenty of moments when you'll jump, plenty when you'll be on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next and plenty of entertainment all around.

And the film is really fun and entertaining.

Entertaining .

The final girls surviving was cliche.

It started off bland and I was bombarded with cheesy and vague character development.

This movie was great, suspenseful, and had a surprising amount of heart.

So, the story is predictable like I've watched the others shark movies.

A good flick to liven up a boring afternoon or evening with your significant other.

For the first 40 minutes or so it's alright, we get introduced to a bunch of cliche characters following a plot that's just as cliche, but it's okay.

The idea of being in the underground temple, already a twisting confusing maze of tunnels, tight corridors and hallways, creates an eerie and suspenseful setting that brings several strong and enjoyable attacks scenes.

Don't waste your time.

A very enjoyable and excellently produced underwater thriller that is well deserving of my 8/10.

But the direction was a bit boring and dull this time.

Slow start, packed second half .

It was boring through most of the movie.

As an average movie fan and not some snooty critic, I thought the movie was pretty entertaining for a late summer shark attack movie.

Some scenes were predictable; I could point out an attack, something bad happening, etc, before it happened when I watched it in theaters.

It's rated "PG-13" for intense peril, bloody images and language and has a running time of 1 hour & 29 minutes.

Pacing too slow, too many slow motion scene!

This has to be one of the worst movies i have ever seen.

No plot.

If that's what Hollywood can think of, they need to up the ante on a good shark movie with unpredictable plot twists, good character intros, and better VFX on their sharks.

There are even some unexpected moments you won't see coming that i commend them for attempting.

There is enough claustrophobia and thrills to make "47 Meters Down: Uncaged" quite enjoyable and watchable, despite the fact that it is very predictable and writers Ernest Riera and Johannes Roberts almost seemed afraid to break free of old formulas used in previous shark movies.

Intense all thru .

It was entertaining.

Corny, predictable, scuba inaccurate and just terrible beyond belief!

They are slow, obvious and uninspired with some poor exciting to boot.

even the predictable ones.

The underwater filming was hard to follow at times.

Worst movie ever.

Quite a few bad reviews on here but i really quite enjoyed it ,a lot better than the first one i may add ,plus the added benefit of sly,s daughter very beautifull girl ,.

The plot is filled with unexpected turns, literally, with events rapidly culminating into an intensified situation.

Asian chick freaks out some more (naturally) then gets bitten and dragged BACKWARDS( that's right, sharks can apparently swim backwards now) and then drowns.

This scene really super slow to be honest!

Superficial components aside, the movie itself succeeds in keeping up a decent pace, managing to craft some suspenseful movie magic that thriller seekers are searching for.

Upon watching it again I have to say I enjoyed it much more.

The other enjoyable aspect of this one is the fine attacks that are incredibly fun.

Overall, it was a fun B movie with a cool premise and I personally liked it better than the first because it had a better story and more fun/thrilling moments.

Worst movie ever, cheap dialogs, cheap story, avoid at all cost.

The plot is cheesy, predictable and plain boring.

Don't waste your time on this it's an hour and a half of 4 girls screaming underwater in their mics when they know that the sharks are blind and can only sense noise.

Dark bland seawater and characters wearing masks made it generally an effort to keep working out what's going on.

That being said it is kinda enjoyable in a so bad, it's good kind of way.

Most of these sharks have dull teeth.

It's pretty brainless stuff, most of the action is filmed in murky conditions and it's difficult to follow what's happening.

Very cliché in making stupid decisions.

The ending goes way too long with "they're safe!

One of the most intense shark movies I have ever seen.

Well worth the watch .

Hands down, the worst movie I've ever seen!

I spent the whole movie on the edge of my seat.

Bored to freaking death.

Dead formulaic.

There's a scene with a flashing red light and the sharks are circling, was so suspenseful I could barely breath.

From the first second, you know who survives cause it's an absolute cliche.

Very entertaining, I recommend giving it a go if you're looking for some suspense and to never enter the ocean again.

would recommend as a decent little film that wont leave you bored .

How do they communicate in those masks if their ears are empty....

The underwater photography is really fantastic & the look & production design of the underwater ruins is Amazing to look at & exciting to watch these girls explore it.

Exciting and Effective .

If there's one compliment I can give Uncaged is that there are two or three short sequences where a jump scare is effective, or the suspenseful vibe was accomplished ...

Its takes time to craft a plot that's action packed, thrilling and above all, knows how to entertain.

Very thrilling.

The four obnoxious 'actresses' are unbearable to watch so it is the plastic 'shark' who can actually bark!

Everything that happened was so predictable.

Honestly I've seen some poor films over the years, this ranks up their with them, predictable, terrible acting, woeful cgi on the shark, please don't waste 90mins of your valuable life with this film..

Toss realism right out the window, but sit back and enjoy a thrilling underwater shark movie...

Bored to freaking death!

The film was 1hr & 18mins short, yet their was more screaming & emotional freak outs from these girls than kills, the film felt dragged despite its short run time.

On the edge of your seat .

How boring .

Overall a pretty enjoyable shark film with a terrific original setting concept that amplifies the intensity.

It needed to be more intense.

Robbie K reviewing:Movie: 47 Meters Down UncagedDirector: Johannes Roberts Writers: Ernest Riera, Johannes Roberts Stars: Sistine Rose Stallone, Nia Long, Corinne Foxx LIKES:Cute Cast Decent Pace Much More Shark Involvement Scary Setting Much More Suspense Than ExpectingDISLIKES Story Based On stupidity Predictable Shaky Camera Work Very Quick Wraps Ups Suspension of Disbelief Must Be Curbed Summary:I can't deny that these movies know how to recruit good looking people to play their puppets of shark massacre and this movie continues that trend.

This was definitely a fun and intense movie.

More enjoyable than I expected.

Trouble is, that approach leaves no story.

It had several twists that kept the movie unpredictable.

Thought the first one was entertaining so queued it up.

Good suspenseful watch.

The original is definitely the more polished piece, but this one is more entertaining.

While it had a stupid story with dumb characters, I actually enjoyed it a lot.

Most of the movie takes place in these abandoned underwater caves and tunnels - at the first moment I thought it'll provide a really cool setting, but the more time passed the more it got increasingly boring, obnoxious, simply not diverse enough.

The climax in the last 15 minutes of the movie was the only exciting part with the girls trying to escape with sharks on their trails.

Sure, the characters were somewhat simplistic and mundane, with very little to offer the audience in terms of character growth, development and such.

The whole Gravity meets Jaws with some elements taken from 127 Hours or Gerald's Game was a great concept that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

Ruined an intense and actually decent movie.

And as far as shark movies go, this one was very enjoyable and terrifying.

I was literally on the edge of my seat throughout the film.

Action packed to the very last second.

Incredibly boring and confusing .

It also would've been nice to know how long they had been sisters since the chemistry between the parents suggests they've been together awhile but the relationship between the sisters makes it seem like the parents just got married so it's kind of confusing.

The storyline may be a little samey to other shark movies but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Worst movie ever...

The first one was intense to me.

The characters have no story to them.

was an enjoyable watch.

Zzzzzzzz .

This is one of the worst movies of the year.

Please spare us in the future these boring let downs.

Predictable and Boring .

Enjoyable .

The direction is appalling and worst of all, it's tedious as hell.

It took us a long time to process everything that happened afterward because during the movie, your adrenaline is so high and you don't have time to really think about what is happening.

Soon enough we get into the water and for about 10 to 20 minutes we can enjoy a somewhat intense underwater adventure & then it starts slowly regressing only to never stop, action becomes bland, plot turns - unrealistic, characters - boring & the climax was so predictable and so Hollywood-type it almost hurt.

First off, I only tuned in to this movie because I was bored and shark movies can be intriguing.

I found it to be to drawn out and boring, up until the last 4 minutes of the movie.

The sharks look good and there were some jumpy & suspenseful moments.

What a frustrating full-of-predictable cliches movie.

The first film; 47 meters down was a simplistic well executed shark survival film that had enough going for it to be a solid entry into the depths of shark films albeit cliche.

You will always be on the edge of your seat.

Amazingly Intense .

If you want to watch a horror movie full of teeth, blood and water then this is the movie you should watch but if you want more than this then just do not watch it because you will waste your time.

What a waste of my time!!!

One of the worst movies in 2019 .

Despite the long-standing obsession with the sea, sharks, and all things creepily fascinating that live beneath the surface, there can be no disguising the cash-in value that peoples' fear of the ocean has in the realm of cinema.

This scene also very bored!

So many jump scares and so thrilling to watch just over all amazing I definitely recommend this so please watch this if you liked the first one this is way better than the first one

Boring and poorly executed.

Normally I don't bash movies, but this one was poorly written, no back-story or good intro to the girls, the deaths were pretty predictable.

It's entertaining, though.

Don't waste your time.

Strong candidate for worst movie of the year.

Sure there are some minor jumps scare but our leading characters are extremely cliché with far too many unwise choices and coincidences which audiences would generally not enjoy.

What I want to comment on is the utter stupid, predictable, and cowardly ending.

It was boring and predictable about what was going to happen with each of them.

Predictable, clichéd film that isn't at all believable.

I expected to see a badly acted, badly scripted, totally predictable film.

"We're gonna need a bigger boat" was Roy Scheider's famous line, updated to this 2019 yawner might be "We're gonna need more stupid and hysterical teen girls to provide protein for them dere sharks!

Writing Quality: Good and engaging.

47 Meters Down: Uncaged is not a good film, but it is a wildly entertaining one.

The last five minutes was intense and awesome, though, probably the best out of the whole movie haha.

It's such a boring and overused trope now that the 'bad guy' or in this case 'Whitey' dispatches with all their victims without a second thought, until that is we are reaching the (non) dramatic climax of our adventure, at which point our 'baddie' decides to toy with their remaining victim(s), sportingly allowing them the luxury of at least trying to escape relatively unharmed from their evil clutches.

There are some tense moments and a few jump scares but it is enjoyable.

There were some actually exciting moments comparing to the first one, so even though Uncaged was bad, I did genuinely sit at the edge of my seat at times.

There were a few jump scenes some were predictable and some were very shocking.

I did not finish the movie i left half way same as crawl, boring at best.

I wish I'd just stared at an empty screen for the same length of time.

The movie is so predictable.

Don't expect an Oscar movie, then it's actually pretty entertaining.

plot was easily predictable cg looked like a 5 year old operator controlling the cave and sharks voiceover was off on 3 whole scenes the foley was off and disruptive i was waiting for them to get eaten to get me out of boredom pros: cool underground city

but I enjoyed it...

"47 Meters Down:Uncaged is a waste of your time"" .

But hey, it is a shark movie, and it is meant for some thrilling entertainment, and director Johannes Roberts steps up and delivers.

Still, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would and give this one a nod in terms of catching it on the tube.

Yawn !

Better than the first one you will probably enjoy this if u like films like the reef jaws deep blue sea you get the drift if u like shark movies the u will probably enjoy this movie and the first one is still worth the watch if you like shark movies

But if you want some sense to a Horror/suspense movie then don't waste your time.

The cinematography and shots were excellent and the setting of underwater caves PLUS sharks makes for a suspenseful ride.

I mean it's pretty bad but if you can suspend literally any logic you might have it's entertaining...

It's a jaw-dropping and hilariously entertaining finale.

Sink your Jaws into this if you're REALLY bored .

This was a fun entertaining popcorn movie.

The actors are really unconvincing and too predictable.

Poor acting, uninteresting characters and wild storyline with poor special effects.

Familiar themes to begin with, that conjure up thoughts of movies such as The Beach and The Descent, but it quickly falls into bland nothingness and will be quickly forgotten, much like this review I've wrote.

A typical under-the-sea horror with bad lighting, jump scares and predictable ending.

47 meter bore .

That really helps make the film more exciting as well.

Finger chewing, on the edge of your seat.

You have more to look at, a different variety of problematic scenarios and it felt more intense.

Still very bored!

The old cliche highschool bully story and the sister or friends that stand up for the victim.

90 minutes of unbearable teenage girls screamingThat's about it

Yes, it's very cliche, yes it's slap-full of ridiculously unrealistic scenarios and way too traumatic for a person to survive, but in this case, because the scares were non-stop and done so well, that's what made it SO entertaining!

Despite these extra things in this sequel, the film still seems a bit predictable.

The film starts off with with some of the most bland and uninspired opening credits I've ever seen.

Watch it if you wanna waste your time.

"47 Meters Down: Uncaged" is a passable movie, but one that I do not recommend - it's a very straight-forward, generic and yes, mildly entertaining adventure that poses the threat of boring You more than doing the entertaining.

It's ultimately just a huge waste of time.

47 Meters of Boredom .

Intense action .

Every time a character dies, it's extremely predictable.

The viewer sits through the boring set-up with the block-headed protagonists (Stallone's daughter among them), only to then have to put up with an hour of interminable underwater shaky-cam scenes which boil down to jump scares and little else.

The characters die in a fairly predictable order and nothing particularly surprising happens until near the end when they amp up the crazy stuff in an attempt to add to the tension.

Whereas the original film was a clever slow burn with a twist ending , this one is a full fledged roller coaster ride.

Finally, there were so many jump scenes that it just got boring after a while.

Don't waste your time.

Still it was enjoyable and beautifully shot.

The slow down Hollywood ending,....

I mean I guess I commend them for making a 90 minute movie that mostly takes place underwater, but there's not much praise because the film is just boring.

In this film you get a bland/cliche mean girls intro and a very basic set up to show the sisters' relationship, then down into the water.

It turns out that it is much better than the first one, which is quite unexpected.

Surprisingly on the edge of seat stuff in this movie, ok some bits of the underwater scenes seem like a set, and not under the sea, but decent story line, good amount of suspense, and the end exciting scenes made me jump and kept me on the edge of my seat, i would watch again.

It was a rush set up adding music to a boring scene like in the beginning.

It has tons of accurate scenes that makes you want to leave the movie theater.

We got great scares (& accompanied laughing afterward) together with thrilling underwater scenes.

They did something different from the norm, very intense moments and a great ending.

Classic shark movie, original and exciting .

Also predictable, i knew that Sascha won't die when the current took her down.

It is way too long for its content and feels extremely drawn out and makes the movie boring.

A shark thriller that played out its entire second half as a hallucinatory waste of time.

I found it boring and cringe how almost every second at least one person is screaming their head off, and I struggled to watch the ending because how unrealistic and unconvincing it was.

As well, the attack in the pond that gets interrupted by the creatures or the last rescue attempt that has some unrealistic but still thrilling action, keeping the pacing up enough to have a lot to like here.

In the first part, the sharks looked more realistic and the plot was more exciting.

I fell asleep times while watching.

That was tense and nerve racking film like the first 47 meters down i was on the edge of my seat really watch it well worth the watch just remember to breathe lol

I enjoyed it.

Decent but predictable movie to end summer .

There's not much to expect from a film like this other than a simplistic plot, one dimensional characters who serve as disposable for the predators of the deep, spectacular visuals of the ocean and massive terrifying looking sharks and unexpected scares in a dark claustrophobic setting.

But all in all I'm giving it an eight because it was rather enjoyable, had me on the edge of my seat, and had me rooting for the main character.
