Unchallenging, formulaic run of the mill, big-screen TV.

Brittany Runs A Marathon has a wonderful and quick setup and the 2nd act builds to something exciting with so much potential.

This was a great mix of comedy/tearjerker, lovely story about a overweight woman that wants to improve her life that deals with a lot in between which was so entertaining to me.

Surprisingly enjoyable.

I was a bit dubious about this as I thought it could be cheesy, over-sentimental or just boring.

Many of the characters are one dimensional in nature and predictable.

This , however, was just another insecure millenial cliche that doesn't bring anything new to the table, isn't charming, is good at being cringe, and has a terribly dull, lethargic performance from it's actors.

I do feel like the film loses its way in writing a bit near the end but ultimately it means very well and does a job of entertaining its viewers.

Funny and gripping and so very honest.

Entertaining little film.

Running is rarely easy, but this movie is a good reminder on how it can be enjoyable, especially if others are there to cheer you on.

Just run along with her and enjoy her humor and mood swings and her engaging set of friends, most of whom have learned how to race life's marathon.

Exhausting and boring buildup just to let everything come down in about 10 minutes.

The film allows Brittany to proceed at her own pace, signified by the slow release of 35 pounds and a will to improve.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen .

To reiterate, the screenplay and direction by Paul Downs Colaizzo are fantastic, Jillian Bell delivers the best performance of her career to date, and the final act of the movie was worth watching the film for.

Mildly entertaining, not really a comedy .

I enjoyed Brittany's responses to unexpected situations in life.

This film gets off to a quick, funny start but quickly descends into a run of the mill, completely predictable pattern worthy (or cringeworthy) of the Hallmark Channel.

Though predictable in plot, the film provides some interesting twists and turns that keeps the audience glued to their seats.

As in life, the transformation is slow and fraught with setbacks; yet we can at that pace better experience her real-life struggles as they are entertaining and occasionally eccentric.

The lead actress in this little indie comedy has something about her that is likeable and compelling to watch on screen.

Unbearable main character.

I also found the film's love interest slightly weak and at moments uninteresting.

Though it's a pretty predictable story and all, I thought it had a lot of substance to it with great messages about life, the overlying one about accomplishments.

A boring, cynical, and ungrateful person runs a marathon, and despite her negativity they still support and care for her.

Hahaha Waste of time

If anyone sees it and disagrees, you have to let me know why, because this movie was so touching and entertaining, I actually can't imagine how that would be the case.

Brittany is an almost-30-year-old woman living in New York with a passive-aggressive best friend/roommate, a dead-end job and a party lifestyle whose life is going nowhere.

Boring.

Jillian Bell was good as Brittany but it was Michaela Watkins as Catherine, Brittany's neighbour that I found the most fascinating.

Like I said earlier, the stairs is predictable.

"Brittany Runs a Marathon" is a really solid film; the acting is good, the writing is very humorous at moments, and the story, while somewhat predictable, is genuinely heart-warming and touching.

Entertaining and Truthful .

A nice little flick if you want to relax and watch something enjoyable.

It's an entertaining, humorous, and poignant race.

Entertaining.

All-around enjoyable .

The film is an entertaining watch and hammers home a few good messages.

Very enjoyable.

Predictable plot.

They make Brittany a character worth rooting for and her journey a compelling one.

With the addition of new friends and other positive influencers entering her life, this positive story is one worth watching.

She does become a better person, but really could have used some intense therapy.

Save your money.

Sappy, Predictable...

While it wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, I enjoyed it.

This movie was an unexpected surprise as I thought it was just a comedy.

If the plot gets a bit predictable, the proceedings are saved by Bell's hilarious riffing.

Very boring and not funny .

But this was a real snoozefest, boring, not funny, with a self loathing lead character.

Don't waste you time or money on this traumatic toilet

it's just a very feel-good movie and I highly recommend it.
