The acting is terrible, the "found footage" mess is too shaky, & the storyline is boring and made no sense.

are undeniable, Earth to Echo is a very fun and exciting adventure and an interesting trend in sci-fi.

Nice and enjoyable family movie to watch with your kids.

Unwatchable .

The film is definitely simplistic and very similar to a lot of other kids movies, and sci-fi adventure flicks, we've seen before but presenting it in the found footage format does make it more entertaining.

One of the Worst Movies Ever Made .

are obvious, but Earth to Echo manages to hold its ground with this intriguing tale of love and friendship.

Its boring, has bad acting, a poorly-executed plot, and weak characters.

I mean it's as if the creator of this movie just had to update one of the centuries best movies of all time and turn it into a typical cliché 21st century high tech movie about a robot.

You'll either find the inner kid in yourself or you'll find this boring, that's a fact.

Movie is really predictable as always.

The camera work sucks out loud, the premise is hokey and predictable, the actors are stilted, and the bad guys aren't even good bad guys.

The alien is adorable and engaging, and the special effects are at a completely different level from the early '80s when E.

Just predictable with flat lines.

It was very funny, enjoyable, easy to watch.

It's at best bland and at worst annoying; awkwardly performed, style-less, and forgettable.

If this film was not found footage, yes there'd be more scope for some more story, yes there'd be better pacing but the story remains bland and unoriginal.

It is mainly shot in a hand-held camera point of view, which has a few spots of shakiness on intense scenes.

Let me just tell you this this movie is awful and gets very boring because it Reminds me of E.

I found it very boring and slow moving.

This is by far the worst movie I have ever seen in the past 2 years.

It takes one back to the days of exploring the world around you, grabbing your toys and gadgets and creating quests from the mundane world.

This movie is dull and unoriginal.

I thought this movie was entertaining from start to finish and will definitely keep you on your seat, and will make you feel excited.

The story is pretty much the same, it's simple, straightforward and predictable: Three kids (later on there's another girl) that only have a few days left before moving out of their neighbourhood.

Sometimes there are things that the kids do which really feel like it's something kids shouldn't be doing, and the plot it fairly predictable.

HORRIBLE: cheap acting, shaky cameras, and truly one of the worst movie .

Enjoyable .

I would have liked to see some more about Echo, which was quite a good creation by the director but he based it more around the kids who did have good chemistry but they became a bit tedious after a while.

oh and This coming up week I would rather You all see Tammy because Tammy you can see and you wouldn't have to waste your money.

I had to leave the theater twice due to motion sickness from the shaky camera angles and amateur camera pans.

It was just plain boring.

I think I might have enjoyed it to much and got a bit excited and chatty!!

Found footage stuff is great filmed, but other parts: Acting, scenario, predictable parts and clichés, are completely missed.

I was actually bored and looking at my watch in the first 10 minutes, and I love being in the cinema even when the film isn't playing!

A Complete Waste Of Time .

The characters are boring.

There's no denying that Earth To Echo will feel terribly familiar in parts, and painfully predictable in others.

But a plan is put into action that is exciting to watch to do something bigger than themselves.

My daughter dragged us to see this movie and I'm glad she did, because it was the first cool family movie(non-animated) I have seen in a long time.

Serving as a sort of grandchild to films like "Stand By Me" and "Paranormal Activity", it's a surprisingly fun and enjoyable film that doesn't overstay its welcome at only ninety minutes.

Total and complete waste of my time are some more.

Visually beautiful exciting Live-Action Disney storm of greatness, nearly flawless .

Save your money and watch ET .

Although I would say that the adventure is fun, enjoyable and entertaining for young kids, I would recommend this film only for those who never watched E.

Parts of it are pretty amusing, and funny, (it's even emotional and exciting at times) and the acting is decent as well.

What a waste of time and money.

This was the first movie EVER I have walked out of a theatre from EARLY--(in fact I usually stay until the closing credits are finished with all other movies).

Boring and just awful.

In the end, I left the cinema 15 minutes into the movie.

T, with a exciting, powerful storyline.

But it's a film that manages to charm and surprise in spite of itself: the characters are lively, the story engaging, and the special effects far better than some earlier scenes would suggest.

Left the Theater Early .

And the movie is filled with boring and repetitive kids' talk.

Don't waste your time or money.

Viewed through the eyes of its young protagonists - and their counterparts in the audience - the film is a rollicking joy-ride, bursting with energy and packed with thrilling action beats.

Don't waste your time or money.

It is the worst movie of ALL TIMES.

, but to the girls it was really quite entertaining.

earth to boredom!!.

This film had numerous comical lines that made the audience laugh, ECHOed by the children, making it cute and enjoyable, for those unlike myself, who may share it with their like family.

To make it even worse the acting was awful, the plot line predictable; it is a plain awful movie.

Something really exciting happening in your life.

For what it is, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

While this movie isn't entirely bad, its very clichéd and uninspiring.

I took my six-year-old granddaughter to see this and she was bored out of her mind.

So, a lot of movies aren't done with a camera point of view but with it being done at a camera point of view where the characters talk to the camera, it made it look like you were watching something real, rather then as most movies are just entertaining stories with various camera shots from different angles.

The people in front of us walked out within 20 minutes and I wish we had.

uninspiring .

Save your money and watch a Youtube video...

We really enjoyed it.

This movie is exciting enough that after having watched it, I would not mind putting it on a 2nd time tonight and watching it again.

Although simplistic and predictable, the adventure is fun and entertaining for kids and the kid at heart.

Our whole family enjoyed it, and that's saying something.

Anyways I really enjoyed it and so did my daughter.

When you're a kid, anything is possible, and the adult world is perceived as both frightening and exciting.

was simply "Alex's" dream, you'll learn if you sit through the entire eight minutes, 20 seconds of the end credits (their "crawl" is slower than a non-TURBO snail's) tacked on to pad out a movie which otherwise clocks in at less than 83 minutes.

Worst Movie of all Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

From the opening scenes through the last frame, this is an engaging, often funny, consistently thrilling and even heartwarming (no need to tell the kids that part)story.

Three brave youngsters set out for adventure and uncover more than they ever imagined in a coming of age tale.

I feel like that was a big mistake, I feel like this movie should have at least made $100 Million, and have been one of the bigger movies of 2014, it was that good and it seems somewhat more entertaining than a lot of other films we'd watch that would make a lot of money at the box office.

Might as well replaced echo with an empty tin of beans, hardly ever see him even though he is cute,he doesn't do a lot he can't move can't speak can't do a lot, The child actors are on par with a school production, camera style is terrible why all the hand held rubbish, just make a movie with normal cameras it's just irritating, plot was just a ripoff of super 8, if your going to rip off a movie plot then at least pick a better film to rip off because super8 is also terrible, gave this film a 3 because echo is sweet enough for what you see of him,Here is an idea to the production company's,stop taking millions to make a decent film then doing it half arsed and pocketing the dough.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my kids.

And if a movie can do that then i am convinced it's worth watching for others too.

Definitely worth watching!!!

The story was over predictable and didn't flow.

Exciting and very cute .

Nonetheless I did enjoy it and it had me laughing, a bit frightened with the intense sci fy music and a little bit sad.

This movie was one of the most boring movies that I have ever seen.

It is just uninspiring.

In conclusion I think this film is alright for children aged from 8- 12 years old but can be quite boring at times.

Boring and a Waste of Time .

It's funny, well acted by the kids and I found it heart warming and exciting.

In fact, it's a movie filled to the brim with clichés, predictable plot points, and character arcs you can see from a mile away.

I tried to give a chance to the movie, but the annoying kid in the movie is too unbearable, babbling none stop.

It is just uninspiring.

Earth to Echo was a fun and exciting movie.

That being said, there is nothing overt that you want to hide your little ones from, they will just probably fall asleep as my 4 year old did.

Story is rubbish, Direction vision-less, acting mediocre at best, plot holes are HUGE, story is 100% stolen from Super 8 and 300% predictable, camera-work is hugely annoying and makes no sense: all shaky 'found footage' taken by a 10 year old boy and then suddenly big Hollywood shots.

I've only ever left the theater for two movies before (The Gods Must Be Crazy and The Thin Red Line).

It's got likable characters, an adorable alien, heart and some intense moments.

I left the theater mid-movie actually sick with nausea motion sickness.

Most of the film the characters are filled with confusion and fear and make mistakes all the time and abandon each other in their hour of need.

Don't waste your time on this one either.

I went to see it with my friend and we both enjoyed it.

clean simple and enjoyable .

I mean I feel like most movies that earn the most money are at least 2 hours long, and have a lot of go pee moments, slow scenes we don't really care about.

:(So yeah that's pretty much all I have to say for the movie because I only watched it for 30 minutes then I left because I thought I was going to have a headache and I really tried to give this movie a chance and enjoy it but I couldn't, it was a very cheap and unwatchable movie!

I say don't waste your money on this movie go see Tammy it is good Earth to Echo is not good.

The story is simple and predictable, the outcome hardly ever in doubt.

I've read a lot of reviews for this movie after I left the theater because I was curious of what other people thought.

This is definitely the worst movie I have seen in years.

I feel like it is a lot better than those films, and more entertaining, as I considered the whole movie entertaining, enough to want to put it on a 2nd time tonight right after watching it.

Humorous but serious and still exciting, "Earth to Echo" is one of the most amazing movies I have ever seen.

The film does seem a little rough around the edges in that the direction utilized both relatively unknown actors and that oh-so cliché hand-held minicam technique.

We enjoyed it so much!

The story felt very empty and was not even close to satisfying.

Intriguing Story, though E.

I REALLY enjoyed it, my 5 YO son and 6 YO daughter did so and want to buy it right away.

It was very hard to watch and I am sure a younger crowd, which the film targets, will find themselves bored very quickly.
