I did find some of the back and forth of the timeline confusing and think that direction may have been overused.

But at the same time, it is fascinating, and there are the life-affirming scenes as well, showing the goodness and sacrifices of humanity to help those in need.

A powerful, gripping & haunting piece of indispensable info, For Sama is essential viewing.

The contrast between the horror of parents try to care and protect an infant while simultaneously trying to save lives and document the horror is breathtaking and heart-wrenching.

They were extremely lucky that nothing happened to them.

Heartbreaking, fascinating, and unsettling poignant, For Sama is the documentary to beat in 2019 and at the Oscars on Sunday.

Sad, thrilling and powerful .
