I was lucky enough to see this movie at its premier at the Tribeca Film Festival, and I must say that I truly enjoyed it.

A truly disturbing performance by Steven Culp(Jason goes To Hell:The Final Friday) as a creepy, but yet intriguing pastor who may be behind the series of violent suicides.

Oh, did I mention that this despicable movie was boring as well?

This movie was interesting, and yet it was sort of dull.

When you add to that the sounds of shifting butts in seats and sporadic yawns, it was apparent that even those friendly to the genre were looking at their watches and wondering when their suffering would end.

Cliché ridden claptrap .

If you can get through the first five minutes of Rumor Willis "acting" (act scared, talk all shaky, keep acting scared) then you might want to have a pen to check off every horror movie cliché From Within manages to hit :1.

Instead, what I got was boring, predictable, and a complete waste of time!

It's original, absorbing, fascinating and provocative.

More stupidity follows with an uninteresting storyline and very pedestrian acting to a silly ending.

From beginning to end, it is emotionally engaging and suspenseful.

pointless and cheap horror film .

Barely managing enough exciting new material to work the length of a feature film, you may experience the urge 'from within' to leave early.

the build up is confused and mixed up, the exposition is in chaos and the script is at some points unbearable (not the dialogues as much as the behaviour of the characters...

While the premise to From Within may look great on paper, this dreary, unimaginatively executed mess manages to make its 90 minute running time seem like an eternity.

One final facet of the movie that I thought was compelling was the musical score -- very effective in contributing to the mood.

A Cliché Boring Watch .

Boring, Nonsensical Junk .

The scares are pretty good and they come at regular enough intervals to keep you engaged while the story and the characters are really compelling.

Acting is pretty decent and the characters are nice and enjoyable to watch.

Spread throughout by the appearance of ghostly doppelgangers that mark the deaths as suicides, there's much more to this aspect of the film beyond the inherently creepy and thrilling scenes they are just on-the-surface, and altogether these provide the film with a lot of good marks.

The storyline is actually quite different to your typical horror, so if you are a fan of Dekker, like myself, then it's worth the watch.

Most of all, though, the camera-work is simply breathtaking.

Save your money and wait till its on Sci-fi at 3 in the afternoon one Saturday.

This time it's suicides in a small town, a bland, predictable take on a story that has been done to death!

Extremely Enjoyable .

The nice points are the ending which is kinda unpredictable and the way the makers show Christian extremists and their way of thinking.

Every actor seems to be playing their "type", like alcoholic, rebel, Goth, religious freak, etc.If you like Final Destination movies but thought they should be dull, predictable, and have trite messages tacked onto them, From Within should rock your world.

I Thought that From Within was an enjoyable film It is set in a small Maryland town, the suicide of an teenager triggers a string of violent suicides.

This is a very scary sort of film and it is very intense in parts too.

The movie starts off with a slow, atmospheric scene.

Ho hum .

Here the director's lack of budget and lack of imagination make the great evil of the story a repetitive mess.

And the dull part?

Then it starts to quickly lose its "charm" as a little horror film and becomes repetitive and without much imagination; wasn't it just recently we saw a similar thing with doubles in Mirrors (then again they come about this time even without the mirror)?

Overall, a very enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half.

The only reason I didn't give this a lower rating is because it was nice watching all these pretentious, self-righteous, worthless Christians kill themselves.

Hollywood, you damn bore, we know about self-righteous, corrupt, simple-minded Christian fundamentalists, you must have covered it in at least 90,000 movies.
