So very, very predictable...

Ghost House is a wearisome and empty horror that is completely devoid of any decent scares.

On top of a cliché premise with nothing new to bring to the table, there's the also the major problem of deplorable acting from the two lead characters.

It further suffers from feeling too much like a short film stretched out with a lot of useless padding and tiresome repetition.

Wow, I have NEVER watched any of these "Asian" horror flicks since the Ring - which I only watched under peer pressure- because I find them droll, predictable, the females are annoyingly shallow and empty - headed, and there's just no ending usually!

Another Overly Dull Ghost Film .

Man, talking about a waste of time and money.

Endlessly dull.

scary girls with black hair, twisted bodies, disjointed movements, old witches, hollow faces, dark eyes, sudden jump scares n pop ups.

The end result is therefore neither exciting nor really worth watching.

It had a very predictable ending too.

Predictable, overbearing, and generic, Ghost House is a film that is lacking in all the essential ingredients that make up a great horror.

It has an actual story and the acting is not bad, the film overall seems pretty well made and I enjoyed it for the most part.

A little predictable at times.

An Average And Predictable Mess Of A Film .

One of the best horror movies I've seen in a while, an engaging story & enough you care about the characters.

I have believe it's definitely worth watching at least once or if you just want a decent scary movie.

Its concept is already a cliché -- young tourists go to a far away land and are subjected to a dark spirituality they have no understanding of, and then things go horribly wrong.

The effects are OK and so is the directing, but the story is somewhat slow moving and the movie which is about 80 or so minutes seems much longer.

They are too few and are far too predictable, anaemic and weakly timed to make impact, with the dull pacing and obvious sound effects cheapening them significantly.

Altogether it's a sad repeat of more of the same - a horror film with a promising premise but is dragged down by the actors and by thinking that a little T&A will make the viewers ignore the trainwreck happening on screen.

Terrifying and exciting.

Whatever you do, please don't waste your time with it.

The monster (or ghost) of this movie is also uninspiring and vanilla, and is perhaps made even more so by its overuse.

Apart from that, this film is one giant unoriginal cliché.

Got bored and turned it off.

The characters are uninteresting and annoying and the inconsistent and illogical motivations bring them down.

The film then spirals into a mess of cliches, bad acting, predictable jump scares, and a story that does not hold your attention.

The writing is also painfully dull, including characters with barely one dimension as well as conversations that leave you waiting for it to be over so the next scare will come.

My criticisms would come from the fact that it contains virtually every single horror cliche in existence.

This movie has all the horror cliche's, there's nothing new here and every time I see a sex scene in a film which plays no part in the plot, I KNOW its written and directed by men who want to see boobies.

Cinematographer Pierluigi Malavasi does a great job of making Thailand look stunning.

if you are bored and nothing to do, give it a shot and don't worry about walking away to make popcorn.

It's not perfect, but it was entertaining for a low budget film.

While not the most original of movies, Ghost House at least takes us to a fascinating Thailand, and through local folklore manages to produce a pretty spooky ghost tale.

Well, because the movie was so horribly predictable that even someone not watching the movie knew what was coming a mile away.

The story suffers from a very limp pace after the first fifteen minutes and gets slower and slower until an interminably dragged out second half.

The fact that there are movies like The Ring, Shutter, The Grudge, The Forest and many, many others also make the movie very predictable and formulaic at times.

The weak dialogue and lack of any character development make the characters dull and uninteresting and you struggle to develop any real emotion for them.

Waste of time .

It's so boring you'll want to hit something.

It's predictable, it's so very bland, it drags its feet like a zombie, and there isn't a single actor or actress who really shines.

The story becomes dull and uninteresting within 15 minutes of the opening, an opening that crams too much information into it, making questions one would have about the story answered already, leaving the story nearly non-existent.
