A slow one time watch .

How other viewers on here are so easily manipulated makes me sick, as in the case of the 'Spy', an Israeli-Mossad propaganda film.

The plot uncovered in a confusing way, the timeline felt overburdened with slow and uninteresting subplots, and the tone quickly became very monotonous.

A cool idea, and I love the photography, but the pace of this is just too slow.

However, the script is extremely basic, bland, and the actors fall flat.

I highly recommend it (along with Dark) this is by far the most original tv show produced in recent years.

Right from the start, catches your eye with its ultimately natural, scenic and breathtaking depiction of the Amazon and its indigenous inhabitants.

The storyline is also just so compelling and unfolds smoothly without being forced like a lot of others do these days.

Beautiful scenery, great acting and a compelling plot.

Photographically it is beautiful and breathtaking, some of the shots of the jungle are just mesmerizing.

But in this version, the jungle looks mostly grey, damp and dull.

This story is deep and profound, as well as being very suspensful and extremely exciting.

Considering the plot, I felt that the 8 episodes kind of dragged and it could have been shown in 4 or 5 episodes.

Original, gripping and unique .

I Want To Like This, But It's Way Too Slow .

The use of flashbacks is excellent, though may be confusing for some.

But too slow for me.

The show is slow and emotionless.

Slow, boring, emotionless .

unfortunately it becomes quite repetitive towards the middle and the ending is just bad.

Breathtaking cinematography and locations.

The magick of the jungle and the two indigenous shamanic characters is so fascinating because it is unlike anything ever depicted in film before.

This series is really unique, I've never seen something like this, It's really worth the watch.

A very unique viewpoint and worth watching for this particular Third World aspect!

Great production values, edgy music, and great cinematography ought not to be substitutes for lazy 'everything is connected', 'good v evil' trite tropes, popular, lowest common denominator storytelling.

Out of cliché, teaching adventure .

I can't give it 10 stars because there were some negatives for me and it did move too slow in some parts, but still a well done series and worth watching at least once.

The acting is superb and the cinematography is simply breathtaking.

This was painfully boring for me to watch.

However, at the half way point it falters and for some reason descends into trite, predictable, formulaic, tacky storytelling that almost ruins the entire series.

It's hard to say what it was really but it was really well done I thought, acting, scenery and story all compelling with the magical/supernatural element running through it making it that bit more interesting.
