Other than that it was pretty predictable in a Shrek kind of way.

The colors look dark and drab, even when the action is taking place outdoors in the middle of the day.

N'ever, supposedly a Cinderella story with a twist, is a collection of bad jokes, whiny characters, predictable story lines, dismal animation, failed attempts to be witty, and a stubborn refusal to allow anything resembling character development occur.

I really don't care what you do but for me, I enjoyed it.

Should be taken sparingly and only as a cure for insomnia.

However, despite these good things, the film at the end of the day felt forgettable and bland.

I thought this was a cute and clever animated movie with good actors portraying the parts - enjoyed it very much.

If my son's friends hadn't already seen "Eragon" and "Night at The Museum", we wouldn't have sat through this 1 hour 15 minute time-waster of an animated cliché.

save your money.

The plot, while intriguing in concept, drags in too many places, and there just feels like a few too many holes are left here and there.

Boredom ensues.

The drab voice acting from Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prince Jr., Andy Dick and Sigourney Weaver made this film lack soul and originality.

All in all, a perfect movie for children and their bored parents.

While sitting in the (empty) theater, I tried to come up with some redeeming qualities for this movie.

I enjoyed Stepmothers heaving bosom as a distraction but aside from that it was entirely predictable and completely lacked the charm of Shrek 1 & 2.

A lot of it seemed like it was just a waste of time.

This had to have been one of the most boring films I have seen to date slated for kids.

Save your money, please don't watch this

Completely generic and dull.

This movie does hold one's attention and it is highly entertaining.

We were even more amazed to find out there were all these extra's on the DVD with even a testimony by Sigourney Weaver telling she was positively impressed with the script and chose to play the evil stepmother because it was 'such an original and round character' while it actually struck us how cliché and black-and-white this character was.

this is one of worst movies I've ever seen.. they could have had a better actor play the wizard and Peters was an awful person to play the step mother, they could have had Sarah Jessica Parker or someone from the sex in the city crew.

By this time, you might be thinking why they would waste their time making movies like this.

So please don't waste your money on this.

The trailer promised an exciting flick about how fairy tales might have ended up had there not been a happy ending.

otherwise,the movie was pretty tedious.

I fell asleep, too--even with the sound effects vibrating the theater.

The Narration was boring and the characters were useless.

the movie does - the predictable plot will be figured out by anyone over the age of 9 within 5 minutes* Oh how I wish I had seen a review of this movie before I had gone to see it.

Also, here and there it gets a little boring because things are being repeated again and again.

Even though this inverted-plot approach is far from original, "Happily N'Ever After" might have been an entertaining movie had it at least managed to be funny.

As I said there's the voice talents of Sigourney Weaver, who was slightly enjoyable as more than just sex- appeal.

The movie had an extremely underdeveloped plot, simple and uninteresting character profiles, and a horribly written script.

The princess protagonist has an uninteresting sense of this, not done in the fun way of Shrek's princess Fiona.

Rick, the dishwasher of the Prince, feels this is a waste of time.

it was a waste of money, I wouldn't rent again ever.

I tell everyone I know that this was the worst movie I have ever seen.

Upon the beginning of the story, it opens with what has to be the most cliché, and completely useless entry-point I've ever seen in my entire life.

While I did have some sympathy for the character of "Rick", the other characters from Cinderella to her evil stepmother were unlikable and/or uninteresting.

This isn't a clever take on fairy tales, it's just boring.

The characters are one dimensional and predictable.

So predictable and the script was horrible.

There are just so many could have been great moments but in the end nothing can save this lacklustre, boring pile of generic trash.

This was nothing but a giant, predictable yawn.

Delivery wise, the animation looked rather uninspiring.

And Sarah Michell Gellar, while I'm a big fan of hers from her Buffy days, seemed bored the whole time.

i came dangerously close to being bored.

I wish I could tell you what the movie is about, but honestly, the plot is so freaking boring, what's the point?

This movie was different and enjoyable for anyone who believes in fairy tales and anyone who dares to believe.

A great idea for a story, but the jokes were on the whole very derivative and the pace uneven consequently the film lacked sparkle and felt predictable.

The characters were predictable, uninteresting and just plain lame.

This film looks terrific--the visuals of Fairy Tale land are quite stunning, and the character design, along with capable voicing, makes the characters memorable.

By this time, you would wonder why anyone would even waste their time watching this movie.

Shallowly explored relationships between the characters, unconvincing vocal-animation synchronisation, poorly devised dialogue, primitive character models, and a severe lack of story content at several points, make for a wholly disappointing film.

yawn yawn yawn .

Good voice cast and a good idea, but forgettable and bland in its execution .

)—are struggling with a dull, lifeless script.
