We also have the cliché corrupt governor (who probably ordered the hit on the wife) sitting in the back of his limo drinking scotch and giving orders to an equally corrupt detective.

my lips are sealed so stay on the edge of your seats, folks!

'I Am Wrath' is by the numbers cliché ridden action ride that fails to offer much entertainment.

This is just a ho-hum tale with nothing going for it.

as a story I found it enjoyable to watch.

" It may be a scene played for comic effect or to round out a character in movies like "Crocodile Dundee," an unexpected wrinkle in movies like "Air Force One," and occasionally the premise of the movie, as in "First Blood," "John Wick" or "A History of Violence.

I highly recommend it.

07/21/2018 A predictable revenge storyline with lame/cliché dialog.

Outside of not being able to take my eyes off of Travolta's terrible rug, Meloni is the only thing worth watching in the film.

"Horribly predictable and equally painful to watch this movie was a total let down for me.

entertaining .

This is John Travolta on slow mo.

Worth watching action thriller among the today's bunch of movies that routinely deals with fantasy, horror etc .

John Travolta does his imitation of Charles Bronson in "Eraser" director Chuck Russell's political crime melodrama "I Am Wrath," and this formulaic revenge epic bristles with moments of spontaneity.

It's Travolta's star power that makes I Am Wrath an engaging film.

Dull, insipid and uninspiring.

But I will also say, that the storyline was quite good and entertaining, despite it being fairly generic and predictable.

It was logically inconsistent, the dialogue was trite and shallow, the plot was predictable where it wasn't utterly ridiculous and oh my GOD Travolta's hair piece was dreadful.

If you say otherwise, John Wick is as predictable and is a good movie also.

Just watched this film and really enjoyed it.

Villains are a bit weak but nevertheless worth watching.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!

we were few guys, trying to enjoy an evening of action films, this was the worst, the most boring, the most idiotic film.

We do have quite a few quotable lines, plenty of action, however, there are plenty of boring, long sequences that are just too long.

When I got back in the room, he had nearly fallen asleep from boredom.

Waste of Time!.

This is a dull, predictable and cheap looking film that spells HAS BEENS in upper case.

After having seen so many films of this type, the revenge action is predictable.

The post-Taken action world is filled with a lot of older actors engaging in a variety of violent revenge tales.

Note to reviewers: Being so negative and savagely critical to a movie does NOT show that you are an expert, especially you fellow wannabes here on IMDb, it just shows what a boof head you are, Try being constructive and tell the readers what is worth watching about the movie.

Worth Watching, Standard DTV Action Thriller.

Good revenge film worth watching .

A bigger problem, however, is how predictable the script is.

Sorry but a waste of time.

We know what is going to happen from mid way to the very end, but it is still worth watching.

It's very entertaining from start to finish.

The script is so dull, that all the twists are not twisty enough and the drawn out dialogue doesn't give much material to the actors.

It's hilariously predictable as Death Wish takes on the corrupt cops, the kingpin and everyone else involved.

It feels a little bland, a little by the numbers, and like I said, Travoltas wig is not fooling anyone.

I Am Wrath is overall just another B grade revenge story with a predictable story line straight to the finish line.

Tad slow - it's takes our hero, played by John Travolta a full 26 minutes to get it into his head - "it's down to him.

Otherwise, a tad silly and somewhat uninteresting.

Having not made a film since 2002, it's odd that the director of such box office hits as The Mask and Eraser would wait over a decade to put such a predictable revenge thriller on his resume.

It's totally unrealistic, but entertaining.

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Unexpected things happen which leaves his wife killed by a bunch of hooligans and he moves to police station for legal proceedings and what happens from then on is uncovering of conspiracy which leads to the higher echelons of government.

I was falling asleep.

Not terrible by any means, just a little pointless.

But director Chuck Russell managed to take my lack of expectations and give me a good and wholesome entertaining experience with "I Am Wrath".

Not totally bad film overall, and I don't say that very often, but 'I Am Wrath' is complete waste of time.

what a cliché piece of garbage.

Somewhat predictable, yet entertaining nonetheless .

Way to predictable......

Just think of every tired cliché you can, and cram it into this and you will have an idea of how the plot unfolds.

Predictable, boring and unoriginal.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen!!.

It uses every, absolutely every known cliché to human kind, that all the twists of the film can be guessed at the opening credits even if you have turned off your brain almost comatose like state.

Elements of several movie franchises are crammed into one very messy omelet of trope and cliché.

Well worth the watch.

Director Russell, last heard from on the site when we reviewed his Eraser (1996), clearly learned from his time working with Schwarzenegger - keep the pace snappy, and make sure you have a charismatic lead hero.

That's the kind of cliché whopper of bad lines that exist in this movie.

The story line was intriguing; Chuck Russell did an excellent job as director; the camera shots were spot on; the music was great!

But hey, this is a movie meant for entertaining, right?

However, the script for "I Am Wrath" is such an awful mishmash of clichés that it renders the film nearly unwatchable.
