Pure propaganda.

Employers can contact me on svhot34 to get great, intriguing story concepts for the success of their movies.

I have more issue with tailoring reality than a movie having a formulaic plot.

As boring and terrible as any sane person would expect .

Trace Atkins was entertaining as Brickell and worth mentioning as well.

Enjoyable for all .

It was a decent story, interesting, a little predictable.

Worth watching it.

With the morals baked into the story, you get a more entertaining movie that doesn't lose the morals to cheesiness.

Whether you're religious or not, this film will have an impact on you and I must highly recommend it.

This is a very-well done movie -- the story line is so relatable, gripping, gut-wrenching, tear-jerking and compelling.

You will generally find that on balance the story was compelling, the production values good, the cast executed well, and the pacing was well-managed delivering the sparkle that makes a movie special.

However, the film was slow and dragged on with boring scenery and hard-to-understand conversation at times.

I enjoyed it mostly (surprisingly too).

While the cinematography and directing in this movie were serviceable, the lack of originality ultimately helped to make the movie feel even more bland.

An enjoyable and inspiring film, well made, although some details missing .

Well worth the watch!!

But unexpected help was coming.

A story with telling, and it was told very well- not overdone, not overly sappy like some movies can be (over orchestrating the sentiment and making it less effective as result)- No, this movie was very well done and I highly recommend it!

That was confusing.

Heart warming and exciting the whole way through .

I'm so glad I went to see this movie and highly recommend it.

What was much more noticeable was that the last third of the movie seemed to be a slower pace than I'd prefer.

What a waste of time

It was hella predictable and cliche.

Overall the characters were well cast and enjoyable.

I think fellow religious and Christian skeptics are mistaken when they review this movie as a Christian propaganda piece.

Cringe, Overrated cliche pro-christian film, that only appeals to a religious demographic .

The move is gripping in places.

Being that I have been involved in the fringes of the Christian music industry for most of my life, it was particularly fascinating to me to learn the backstory on the song.

Well made and compelling, with some sag now and then and an intrusive, overbearing score, this is a moving story about forgiveness and the crazy music business.

unexpected .

Some of the scenes seemed somewhat tailored to create a formulaic movie narrative.

Definitely worth the watch .

"The inspiring and unknown true story behind MercyMe's beloved, chart topping song that brings ultimate hope to so many is a gripping reminder of the power of true forgiveness"....

Characters are two-dimensional at best, and a plot that demands extreme pathos for 1st world problems most people yawn at.

The story is woven incredibly well, and it's a super-enjoyable movie.

Boring Propaganda of Jesus .

Rest of supporting cast including Trace Adkins made the movie enjoyable, very interesting and one that I immediately recommended to other family members.

Really enjoyed it and it wasn't a run of the mill Christian movie.

It even bored me so much that it put me to sleep for five to ten minutes.

I left the theater feeling uplifted and happy.

I enjoyed it, despite it's poor performance from Finley.

Don't waste two hours of your life that you'll end up quickly forgetting about, your time means more than this.

The writing was comical, the acting was horrific and for a stupid song to have a movie made about it is a waste of money.

I watched the movie with my grandma, who is very religious, and she really enjoyed it.

Heart felt movie Morals A enjoyable godly movie 🍿 Dennis Quade was good

The true story behind Mercy Me's inspirational song is even more inspiring; as well as funny, charming, heartwarming, bizarre, and flat out intriguing.

Breathtaking story behind a beautiful song .

Many times Christian movies are slow or the acting isn't great, this movie puts all that to rest.

The first part leading up to his band's audition in Nashville seemed nicely paced, It was the rest which seemed a bit slower than ideal.

It was unexpected and engrossing.

Well worth watching again!

To all this, add a cast that is solid from top to bottom, mixing the talents of actors with widely varying levels of acting experience, and what we have is a very entertaining and impactful motion picture.

The message behind this movie goes so deep that now when I listen to the song, I cry with a deep intense feeling because I understand now what Jesus can do through the power of prayer and hope.

On top of all I just mentioned, this movie bored me.

Very long, boring and at part thought "well i bet it didnt happen like that" Dont get the good reviews.

The rest of us will find it just as dull, nauseatingly contrived, and infuriatingly self-righteous as every other run-of-the-mill Christian film.

Definitely an enjoyable watch.

Our group of two teens and two adults found it very enjoyable!
