He seems to be living a pretty comfortable life as Acapulco's playboy, but his life takes an unexpected turn when one of his casual encounters comes knocking at his door a couple of years later.

An unexpected visit changes two lives forever in Instructions Not Included .

Her performance was riveting.

A waste of time :( .

all i have to say is stunning .

I recommend the movie for those that want to see something different, that is worth watching .

Totally unexpected gem.

Entertaining Mexican comedy about an irresponsible Acapulco playboy slacker (Eugenio Derbez, who also directed), sleeping each night with a different woman, who one day sees a former US blonde paramour named Julie (Jessica Lindsey) arrive at his house bringing along her baby daughter called Maggie that she claims is their child.

I had the feeling that this movie was going to be a Mexican chicko - flicko, but it turned out to be a nice, enjoyable movie.

I'm a sucker for kid, usually little girl, actors doing an amazing, totally unexpected job filling a major role.

This is SUCH a beautiful movie, and the unpredictable twist at the end is pure GENIUS!

I saw the movie and enjoyed it a lot, even as it got darker in the end.

Don't waste your time.

The first 15 minutes of the film feel completely formulaic and clichéd.

Very funny, unexpected, gives you a great lesson.

But then i thought i will just give it 5-10 minutes to see whether it's worth watching with subtitles or not (you know it's very difficult to watch and enjoy a foreign movie with English subtitles ).

I highly recommend it.

First I have to say it is not your typical Hollywood Movie, it isn't Adam Sandler Big Daddy either, its a Mexican comedy with a touch of drama, the great thing about this movie is how well Eugenio puts it together, its fast paced, great acting, nice cast, with good shots and a fine score, it takes you on an emotional ride, you laugh and then you almost cry, then you laugh again, don't worry about subtitles its very easy to follow, the box office down here in Mexico has been spectacular, we had 900,000 viewers Saturday 21st of September, I hope this movie to be the beginning of great crossover films, my brother said "you cant miss it", I agree

I think this is a great movie, great chemistry between Dad (Eugenio) and daughter (Loreto), this movie is funny but touching with an unexpected finale.

For one, the pacing is off in some parts and the movie goes on a little too long, though it never quite wears out its welcome.

This is a sweet charming film with a lot of heart that makes for an entertaining viewing with the family.

The storyline was so beautifully original with interesting twists and exciting humorous events to keep you glued to the screen.

It's full of cliché, the plot is totally unlikely and unrealistic most of the time in a way that it's annoying even if it's a comedy, the production quality is of series B.

expect the unexpected.
