One-line Reviews (124)

Up until the end, Kutcher monotone performance came across as lack of talent.

The cliché assassin/spy who falls in love decides to put his killing days behind him to live a "normal" life has been done to death!

Ashton Kutcher is a comic actor with a good screen presence and Kathryn Heigl, cleavage and all, is a rather charming and quite attractive actress, but in this movie both are just going through the motions, saying their lines, getting through their scenes, and doing so in a way that brings new meaning to the word tedious.

A good enough rom-com but predictable, silly and instantly forgettable, though it's better than The Bounty Hunter.

Tom Selleck plays Heigl's dad, a slightly predictable character.

This is one of the laziest films I have ever seen and was just horrible, at least one of my girlfriends admitted that this was a stupid film and it was a waste of time.

Anything more is just a waste of money and time.

The first 45 minutes are almost a waste of time, but after that, it's action that is enjoyable.

It was really boring up until the hour mark.

And you will think that the leading couple will be very entertaining and funny together, as they both have already played in descent romantic comedies before.

The direction is full of life while the script, somewhat contrived, still has some original moments.

It's just as disposable and predictable as every movie out there.

Boring being the key word.

In a world that includes good comedy films, why waste your time on a comedy that causes emotional pain instead of laughter?

I, but this movie was a complete waste of time!

Ashton Kutcher's character was pretty dull, I didn't know if he was being serious or if he was just constipated.

While this slightly predictable movie won't win any Oscars, it has plenty of action, laughs, irony, and twists to keep me and the rest of the theater entertained.

If you don't know what to do on a cozy Saturday night, I can perfectly recommend you to watch this breezy, entertaining comedy!

The comedy was pretty basic but it still made the whole audience laugh and the twist was so unexpected!!

So unreasonably stupid, I actually enjoyed it!

Fast Paced Fun .

After forty minutes though when it comes to the action as friends and neighbours try and assassinate them it gets very silly as they are act so stupid, it's hard to imagine them try and assassinate Spencer so professionally and the characters started to get on my nerves as a result with less of me laughing, but the action was handled well making it mildly enjoyable.

I read a couple of movie critic reviews that made this movie sound like the biggest waste of time ever.

The fight scenes are pretty well-staged, while the chases range from very good to merely ho-hum, and there are none of the really elaborate knock-your-eyes-out stunts that a viewer sometimes encounters in these pictures.

Killers is easily one of the worst movies of the year.

There was a lack of humour, enjoyment value, and character development for the drama there to be enjoyable.

Critically analyzing Killers is like reasoning with an alligator before it eats you alive; it's a waste of precious time better used for self reconcile.

My problem with the first part of the movie is that it's very slow.

In a nutshell, "Killers" is a comical, no story, chain of events that take place in no brains land.

this movie was boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then you have Katherine Heigel's character, she was confusing.

As recorded it for playback i winded it back to where i got comatosed and played it out till its predictable end.

in fact,i was ready to quit watching it out of boredom.

Have you ever been so bored, you force yourself to see something you really have no interest to see?

Actually, it got somewhat tedious because they came almost non-stop when Spencer and Jen couldn't trust anyone as it seemed the whole world was out for the $20-Million.

Disposable, predictable, cliché, nonsensical, and the list goes on.

There are some parts in the film that almost anyone could predict happening, but it is still very enjoyable to watch.

Killers is very boring, there's nothing else I can say about it.

Very entertaining.

Most of us enjoyed it.

The movie is pretty entertaining till the end.

I find "Killers" very enjoyable and entertaining.

This comedic spy flick starring Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher and Tom select and Catherine O'Hara was surprisingly very entertaining despite very negative reviews.

Even the moments, which are rare, where the movie is funny, it's pointless because those jokes have been used countless times before.

At 97 odd minutes this seemed a lot longer maybe because I was bored ridged, and praying for it to end.

But is really confusing and silly.

It was just very slow, not too much done with it, and many lame jokes along the way.

This could have been a good film, but it is a bit mixed throughout, the first half with the couple falling for each other while the guy's secret is hidden is fine, and it certainly picks up with pace once they are in danger from other hit men, but it can be predictable most of the way, and I admit I didn't laugh a lot, I don't think it's as bad as one star out of five like critics give it, it's not the worst action comedy.

The action sequences were very violent and intense just how I like them, and Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl's chemistry between each other as a married couple was perfect, I found myself laughing throughout the film!

Because there are a few entertaining moments here and there, including a few mildly impressive action scenes.

However, it is still a stale film that feels soulless and predictable all at the same time.

This was a fun, fast-moving film with action and romance alike.

It got some good jokes and scenes built around the confusion when everything starts to fall apart and the action gets going.

My friend wanted to see it because she was bored, so I appeased.

And Ashton Kutcher is stiff and boring.

Takes about 45 minutes to become enjoyable.

The question here is not how could any studio put together such a laughable concoction, but why would anybody even want to waste their time doing it.

This film is lightweight, silly and adrenaline-driven for the most part, and I think it delivered well on its shallow objectives.

But even though it was very enjoyable and funny at times.

A very entertaining comedic spy film .

They are both enjoyable to watch.

We fall into the typical clichés and beyond predictable moments and the characters are just horrible.

Fortunately, I am easily pleased, and I quite enjoyed it.

It has a very slow start about a couple meeting on vacation, getting married and living in the suburbs and around 2/3rd in the movie their life get turned up side down.

There are three major elements an action comedy needs to qualify as entertaining: fine performances, good laughs, and some exciting action sequences; and this sour excuse of a movie has none of these.

The parts most people refer to as "boring" in the film are what my wife and I really enjoyed.

Don't waste your time.

Now, if your bored and all your doing is sitting and counting tiles on the floor and Killers is on TV...

ONCE in a blue moon there comes a movie which hits every criteria spot on, and Killers has honed all of its attributes in order to make a truly, unequivocally bland and forgettable hour and a half-worth of tosh.

The story itself did not make any sense, and was fiendishly difficult to follow.

Katherine Heigl plays the romantic comedy lead, she got the sexy part and at least tried on the funny part, but she was a very disjointed character that at times was really hard to care for or relate to.

and the movie was boring.

The film was predictable, tedious and shockingly performed.

Yet there were still some unpredictable moments.

The film is neither funny or thrilling and is instead really boring.

It stars Ashton Kutcher as Spencer, a man who lives on the edge, and after being married to Jen (Katherine Heigl), a play it safe type girl must confess that he's actually a killer for the FBI.

Upon learning of Spencer's decision his CIA boss declares (again in banal clichéd style that we have all heard in this type of film) that nobody ever quits their vocation.

Not funny, romantic, or even a slight bit exciting enough to bare .

moderately entertaining .

Hand-to-hand combat is actually more entertaining here, than that found in Quantum of Solace.

Killers will probably rank among my list in the Top 3 worst movies of the year.

Whatever, I'm too bored and annoyed to care.

This is a great movie to watch with your girlfriend/boyfriend or just with yourself on a boring Wednesday night.

it has it's moments, but the plot is too simple and predictable- it just gets on boring you on and on.

It's funny and has unexpected surprises.

zzzzzzzzzzzz .

Most of the scenes were just prolonging and drawn out.

(Please) Don't waste your time on this Cliché "Action-Packed-Rom-Com" .

The jokes are the same, the premise is unnecessarily nonsensical and contrived, and to put the icing on the cake, not one scene hints at a spark of originality.

Helped by the pitch-perfect, attractive Heigl-Kutcher pairing and skillfully choreographed fight sequences, director Luketic expertly molds the familiar material into an infectuously entertaining, unpredictable blend of Nick & Nora Charles comedy-mystery and modern day action flick.

While the movie might be very predictable, it has its funny moments and while the pace isn't break neck, it does keep you entertained.

After all these shortcomings, you'd expect it to be entertaining right?

If it weren't for Tom Selleck and Catherine O'Hara, the movie wouldn't be worth watching.

A very basic, boring plot to say the least.

but then, just over forty five minutes minutes in,the movie got exciting and suddenly it was like watching a another film altogether.

For a movie with quick turns, supposedly unexpected twists and turns, it is far too predictable.

It is a tiresome boring first half where nothing good happens.

It's way too predicable and way too repetitive.

But the rest of the film was entertaining.

The story is so stupid and pointless.

The more you think about it, the bigger the waste of time it becomes.

Seeing so many familiar faces, like Tom Selleck & others made it even more enjoyable.

I was feeling bad for all the actors involved, but least for Kutcher and Heigl who seemed committed to forcing a laugh out of intensely dull witted dialogue in situations which have been worked into much better films (i.

It's a little over 90 minutes but it's the slowest 90 minutes ever.

it's just unfortunate the movie took so long to actually become worth watching.

Don't waste your time.

She's afraid that their marriage may be getting boring, then the killers start coming after them to collect the $20M contract.

After the uninteresting part, we get treated to action.

Beginning of second act threatens to bore us to brain aneurysms with married bliss, until Rob Riggle (THE HANGOVER) picks up the pace as a neighbor who tries to assassinate Spencer.

Director Robert Luketic made a horrible work, specially during the action scenes, because he felt so insecure with the fights and shootouts that he had to appeal to the trick of the camera with confusing movements and abysmal edition in order to create the illusion of action.

Boring, stupid, senseless.

It's mildly intriguing, and blatantly pandering.

But after the film, you wake up from your happy-go-lucky dream and realize the real truth, that was one of the worst movies you've ever seen.

On My Top Three Worst Movies of 2010 List .

The film then spent around an hour showing us their boring suburban life.

KILLERS was infinitely more exciting when it was called TRUE LIES.

If you're really bored and unfocused, and need a movie that you can watch with your brain pretty much turned off - this is it.

netflix did not think I would like this movie as much as the average rating it got, and neither did my girl friend, who enjoyed it and had heard about it and recommended it.

The acting was pretty average, Katherine Heigl did a great job playing as her character Jen but Ashton Kutcher was very bland at times with his and wasn't really funny.

The movie was rather lame and boring.

Now the film is somewhat predictable, and yes, I figured that Tom Sellicks character was somehow more than he seemed.

Other than that you get to see them in their pretty mundane suburban.

Bland is an understatement .

The film of course starts out in beautiful Nice, France, and then we cut to three years later, and are in the dull suburbs of America.
