I switched off again after the first few episodes, since I thought it was too boring and more of a "late-puberty-problems-story" than a superpowers-story.

after that they start loosing powers and the excuses for all these terrible new powerless characters and old ones returning to community service is just plain boring.

I assume the dialog is supposed to be funny but comes across as awfully contrived half of the time.

Only a few seasons definitely worth watching.

BUT, with that being said, I got bored the other day and decided to watch the 4th season and the first couple episodes of the 5th now.

The series is an engaging mix of humor, superpowers, growing up, drugs and sex, action, and drama.

The script was boring and the characters were being changed with almost none of the original characters still in the show.

Yes the show is VERY funny but its also grim and dark, with blood and violence but its all part of the gripping story that will keep you glued to the screen.

Terrible Waste Of Time After Original Cast Mostly Left The Show .

While there is a strong fantasy element what with the kids' powers and the other (mostly villainous) supers they come across, a lot of the obstacles they face are more mundane - community service (obviously), sex, drugs and people being general k***heads.

The first two or three series are actually top quality in honesty, it's a very entertaining, funny and gripping series that held my attention majorly throughout.

Overall Misfits is definitely worth watching, Series 1-3 anyway, I honestly would say leave 4-5 out, because it leaves you with a negative taste in your mouth after viewing what really is a funny, unique take on the superhero drama genre.

Season 1-2 good, Season 3-4 terrible and boring .

If the original cast had have stuck around for the entire 5 seasons it would've become incredibly dull and repetitive.

Regardless, Misfits' third season is a sufficiently made, enjoyable slice of science fiction comedy-drama which is always great fun to watch, albeit Joe Gilgun can't fill Sheehan's size 55 shoes and that Hitler episode was so stupid.

The first two seasons, was entertaining, and original!

He keeps things entertaining, so I just couldn't continue to watch.

Some episodes are scary, some hilarious, some keep you on the edge of your seat.

I didn't like the new cast, any of them and I just didn't care if they will live or die, be happy or not, with whom will they get involved romantically etc.On a side note, there was way too much pointless sex throughout the series.

One of the most gripping shows I've watched in years, though i can see why people are quick to point out the similarities to shows like Heroes, its very far removed.

Anyway, Seasons 1-3 are gold, definitely worth watching.

i'm in the states and just started watching this series.. got bored and clicked where it says people also watched .. i loved the episode so started at the beginning of the series.

the whole show is a boring pile of drivel from season 3 onward

Every season after gets progressively more boring.

But then, by about the 3rd episode, the layers beneath and the motivation behind each of the lead characters begins to emerge, and this makes for compelling viewing for people of all ages.

The latter half of this show displays utter contempt for its female viewers by expecting us to find it entertaining.

At first it looks like your average Skins type rip-off but it very quickly establishes an intriguing plot with lovable characters and unexpected twists aplenty.

Misfits was one of my favorite series around, because it was so original and excellently made with a fantastic cast and the plots were so thrilling at times.

Instead of advancing the story, the writers spend about half of the screen time with pointless sex scenes, while the other half is split between unrealistic violence and some plot.

I think Overman was getting bored in the last series to be honest and that's why he farmed some episodes out to the mysterious Jon Brown (who didn't seem to appear in interviews).

The thought off young convict adults acquiring super powers from an unusual storm, having to fight off zombified youth workers and goody two-shoes civilians doesn't really sound that appealing, but somehow the directors manage to pull it off completely, making the series hilarious and so to enjoyable watch that you can't wait for the next episode!

Brilliant, entertaining and funny .

its amazing how a show with such an awesome idea behind it can be such a waste of time.

Stuff that basically that was unpredictable.

The show is most definitely entertaining, there is rarely a dull moment (at least not one that lasts for very long) and with five interesting characters usually taking centre stage there is always something going on.

The story is predictable, the main characters are unbearable, and the comedy seems like it 's made for teenagers.

Season 1 is an unexpected delight.

Series 1 and 2 of Misfits are outrageous and far more entertaining than the synopsis suggests.

Misfits the same, season 1 and 2 I was thinking WOW, and then 3rd and 4th season I was bored to watch a full episode cause they screen was stupid and also they had destroyed the awesomeness of every character.

This show is still clever, still very engaging and the male rape scene in the toilet is such a sophisticated take on a difficult subject that it is difficult to imagine where the writers are going to take us next.

The later seasons also lack a story arch which just made it so boring.

Acting and music are good, special effects are often ridiculous, partially because of the low budget, but I believe it was in good part on purpose, and although this is not objectively high-quality show, because of unexpected originality and unbelievable fun, I am struggling not to give it straight ten.

In the fourth season plot was very weak, pointless sex scenes annoyed me and I simply didn't give a damn about the characters - all of them were unlikeable.

Addictive and thoroughly enjoyable .

If you want to watch something entertaining, then Misfits is probably for you.

Very enjoyable and such a wild ride!

Man I totally love this and had to write a review to let everyone know, its a tricky start to the first season, but soon the humour kicks in and the plot threads start to intertwine in the most intriguing way, and you are hooked and it totally, totally pays off- at least so far.

Bloody entertaining .

The characters are fantastic, the plot lines are fun, and the writing is engaging and original.

The "Milk" episode started off so (pardon me) cheesy and had a faintly ridiculous premise but it turned to a very dark episode and had me on the edge of my seat.

The pointless twist in the senseless plot?

This is an enjoyable show, if you take it for what it is.

The story is good but like I mention in the title for 2 seasons, after Nathan left and season 3 began there is this empty spot and the new character didn't fit in that well.

Intriguing .

Violent attacks, murder, burying bodies..from the action packed first episode its a hair raising thrill ride with some amazing music in the soundtrack.

However, where this show fails is with the empty, unlikable characters and lack of any real driving plot.

Later in the show actors and characters are changing pretty fast and the plot is more and more complicated, sometimes maybe too much, but it is definitely worth watching till the end.

This show is so different and enjoyable.

But the storm changed a lot of other people as well, so each episode is totally unpredictable!

While this is entertaining, I have always thought that it wasn't very realistic.

While this doesn't sound revolutionary in itself, the writers have managed to turn the much-used subject into something unique and exciting.

The characters are at their strongest, the plot is new and exciting and there's enough little twists and turns to keep it gripping.
