One-line Reviews (141)

This movie could have been good, but instead they decided to skip a lot of much needed details, and left the audience with a crappy ending that made the audience cock their head in confusion more than leaving in suspense (which I gather was the intention).

The main actress keep hallucinate also bored to freaking death!

This could have been so much better but it was predictable, fairly boring and had little imagination.

Slow and uneventful .

The result is a compelling story you simply won't be able to leave once you get into.

And it was kind of predictable.

Empty of any life or hope.

It's like a chess game with one player: pointless.

And after all of this, we're left with a bizarre and confusing ending....

Something to make it more enjoyable.

What a waste of precious time .

Don't waste your time .

Either amazing or dull so it's hard to make a choice simply based on other people's point of view.

I'd say it's More slow calm horror than gore.

Or you know, just drive out of town like nothing happened.

This movie was all over the place, but entertaining?

Subliem actress, great slow going movie that takes you in.

This would have worked better as a forty odd minutes TV series episode, it's too drawn out here even though Katrina encounters interesting/creepy characters along the road to sunset.

Was it bad and boring like others reviewers say?

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!

She moves slower than cold honey even where there are only moments left before her daughter dies.

Suspenseful and entertaining .

I felt like I'd been poisoned and I was dying a slow and miserable death the longer I watched this movie.

Everything was presented in a very plain, very straightforward manner which, while not strongly lacking in any particular element of filmmaking---average acting, average shooting, average cinematography, etc---it all just ends up being a waste of time.

Entire film slow like hell!

I wish Netflix would save it's money and stop making really horrible, boring, poorly directed and written, unoriginal-original movies.

Suspenseful thriller .

So the film makers decided to make it so slow it felt like 2:30 minutes.

A fantastic story and super suspenseful .

For the most part though, the script is mediocre, shallow and predictable.

Short SPOIL FREE review:This movie was excruciatingly boring.

Boring .

film also carries human emotions which leads character to on a unexpected path.

I believe "Rattlesnake" is a fine friday flick, but I can't put this anywhere above average, because in the end it feels more like just another filler for the mass market of movies on digital media than it feels like a sophisticated, well crafted and entertaining thriller/horror movie.

What started out as a fine premise for a thriller: to save someone you gotta kill someone; yes it's trope but Sometimes there's a nice twist and the movie winds up enjoyable.

Contrary to many reviewers the slow suspense and story telling was in my opinion a very great addition to this movie.

Steady pace and suspenseful.

You'll fall asleep soon

It's one that no one should ever take lightly and that's what intrueged me alot, and why i loved the slow approach.

Perhaps suspenseful music would have helped.

Boring .

Enjoyed it.

When there is no story to base the plot on, it's not very interesting.

In fairness I was captivated enough to stay awake for this & I was confused enough by the amount of directions this movie took - again, not a sign of an enjoyable experience.

Just don't waste your time

This movie is not worth your time, It super boring and just not watchable...

I got to the point where I was like just kill someone already, forget ethics, this is so boring let's just get it over with.

Boring .

Its absolutely boring.

Worth a watch if you're bored - but there's plenty of movies to waste your time on that are much better than this one.

Such a waste of time.

The plot is simple but it's still a surprisingly intriguing thriller as you watch the woman grapple with her conscience of finding a victim so it's an interesting character drama.

I've seen movies with tons of action and plot which usually involves going from point A to point B to point C looking for some McGuffin but the movie was still boring.

A little boring .

I don't really understand all the negative reviews, it's not the greatest thriller ever but it's watchable, it's entertaining, it has good characters, good development and a nice ending.

Really enjoyed this film- had us all on the edge of our seat as the minutes ticked down to sunset!

Watching paint dry on a wall was more entertaining.

Intense .

Boring, the suspense get no feelling.

Some of the qualities include a good main performance by Carmen Ejogo (who tries her best while portraying a character in search of any real personality), a story that holds potential (but instead chooses the uninventive, watered down approach) arguably good cinematography (which kinda wears down with time by just not changing, impressing, surprising) & an original score that goes from seemingly effective to either repetitive or feeling like it's been wasted on this movie.

Reading the plot synopsis, I was somewhat confident that this could be a gripping small-scale horror-thriller evolving around someone bitten by a rattlesnake in the middle of nowhere.

For the most part "Rattlesnake" feels like an uninspiring slow-burn, a familiar tale of a familiar dilemma explored only vaguely as if the filmmakers behind this were uninvested and half asleep.

This film is soul destroyingly slow.

Rattlesnake is worth watching.

The end is a bit unexpected to be said what was a bit interesting.

Very slow moving considering she had only seven hours to kill someone, and she waited until the very last minute.

The movie is suspenseful, and keeps you entertained throughout.

Seriously, I beg not see these kind of boring, low budget, meaningless movies...

The acting is weak, the script is boring and the movie is lonnngggg!

Just boring.

What a waste of time.. and what a shame.

In some way it's a bit boring.

Very exciting .

All in all it was a great slow going movie Albeit predictable it did very well what it did and still managed to lure you in very well if you like these type of movies.

I rolled my eyes at the cliche bar scene.

The idea of the dilemma of killing a person was good, but the main character had many opportunities to kill a person that at the end it becomes boring.

Really not that bad, it's entertaining.

Dull, lackluster.

I mean no question is answered at the end of the movie, it's a total waste of time

Start seemed promising but after first 15 minutes turned weird and predictable plot.

This is a movie to watch when you're extremely bored with nothing better to watch.

Really, really boring.

The pacing's very even throughout and also very slow, it doesn't quite pick up at the end either.

It's slow burning and not your usual crash boom bang blockbuster.

It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Slow like hell!

Another Netflix bummer thriller don't waste your time .

Both the script and the direction is bland and comes off as simply not very smart.

Not a bad movie at all, quite entertaining .

Ultimately, the movie ia so predictable even upon the twisting final dilemmas, that tou wouldn't believe it.

I went through the trouble of creating an account only to write that I absolutely hated the movie for one reason and one reason only: the main character was the most stupid, dull, and void of common sense of anyone I've ever seen.

RATTLESNAKE is by no means a disaster of a film, but it's so formulaic and uncreative in every single way that it ultimately turns out to be the worst kind of wasted time.

Be that as it may, Rattlesnake is compelling, discomforting and pretty unnerving in a beautifully unassuming manner.

Don't waste your time .

Don't waste your time.

Dont waste your time

It was so slow and boring.

poor acting, stupid storry line.. Nothing happened at the end.

It was awful and predictable.

I thought the acting was acceptable, but the plot was thin and predictable.

Story a bit boring for a horror-thriller.

Weird and predictable .

The movie is boring, extremely slow.

Ejogo and Rossi has a showdown at the end of the movie as she has kidnapped his wife-beating character and it features very predictable twists.

Boring .

A few twists and turns could have easily been included and the ending was a bit bland.

Pan shots take ages and going from point A to B is painfully slow.

Confusing .

The plot is highly predictable.

Boring and for a hour and half it felt like holding onto a boiling pan.

Simply a waste of time that I'll never get back.

Tedious effort of a morality play crossed with supernatural elements.

Bore-a-Bore-a .

Plot was boring, acting wasn't good, no horror or scary episodes, basically nothing.

Just some interesting ideas, thrown together, dragged out.

Slow and boring.

Not a single twist, predictable, slow and doubtful choices from the main character.

Don't waste your time on this one.

Worth watching .

Un Answered Questions/Confusing Story Line.

Stupid and pointless.

This was a true waste of time.

So if you're browsing to see if this movie is worth the watch, I would say it's better than most Netflix Originals.

Tedious effort .

A slow burn supernatural feel grows through the whole film, with a desperate race against time.

Very confusing.

An easy watch that will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat.

Even though the movie is quite short, it's still boring at times and stretches unnecessarily, which actually says a lot about the movie already.

I wish I could recommend this, but it is slow, boring and genuinely doesn't show anything, close to literally no action, everything is put there from the very beginning and it is quite clear where it's heading.

It gets slower and slowwwer and....

I'll be honest, I zoned out of this movie several times, a whole lot of nothing happens for the majority and there's no real story as such, just a basic "here's this and this is what needs to be done" with nothing creative or intriguing that could hold my interest.

All though this movie has no deeper meaning and won't go to history being remembered, it is entertaining and suspenseful.

Zéro suspense, got bored at the end , the storyline is so cheesy

Coming from Zak Hilditch, who directed the surprisingly decent 1922 two years ago, his second Netflix movie RATTLESNAKE is unfortunately a formulaic bore.
