Now, at this point you will be thinking this is just a waste of time and you'll want to shut it off....

So, as you could imagine, it is pretty boring and even after that, when Ricky explains what happened to him after the ordeal at the end of the first one (in which his brother is shot dead in front of him), it does not get much better.

It's one that I would enjoy a lot more on a strictly so-bad-it's-good level, as for the twenty minutes he's on the screen, the Ricky stuff is priceless, but all those ceaseless flashbacks just make it mostly boring and really suck all the fun out of it to me.

However, over half of the running time consists of boring, recycled footage from the original Silent Night Deadly Night, which makes it not worth the time to get to the "good" stuff.

Later he escapes, and goes on a truly pointless and tasteless killing spree, gunning down people taking out the garbage at their homes, running over people with cars, etc., etc. The film is shoddy and forced, and does zero to add anything to the first film, which should have been left alone in the first place.

Though the rehash in the beginning is tedious (most wouldn't be watching this trash if they hadn't seen the first one) there are some of the funniest, most gratuitous scenes ever in this film.

The new scenes are dull as a doornail, and that actor who plays the title role here gives one of the most irritating film performances of all-time.

Then there are the 'contemporary flashbacks' with young Ricky raised by his adoptive parents, and killing a total of eight people, (five in the last part with some far-fetched, but enjoyable shootings.

PREDATOR is by far the worst movie I have ever seen (with FROM JUSTIN TO KELLY a close second), I thought this movie SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT PART 2 comes in a close third.

The sequel is just boring, pointless, badly, badly, badly acted, absolutely badly made, crap deaths....

And the acting is bad, not even an enjoyable bad, just nails on a chalkboard unbearable kinda bad.

So much time is spent focusing on the previous film, that it makes watching the original nearly pointless, because they sum it up all for you in the sequel.

Basically part one and two in one movie, if you get past that it's enjoyable as cheese .

Near Unwatchable...

"Silent Night,Deadly Night Part 2" is mildly entertaining in its intentional awfulness-that's why I'd give it 5 out of 10.

he seemed so bored and care-free!!!

Contents: 22 killings (in both movies); so-so splatter FX; flashback nudity involving Linnea Quigley; one decapitation; many blood-splattering shootings; no suspense, but not boring, but no plot at all.

Unnecessary and boring .

By the way, I just told you nearly everything that happens in the film because most of what is described here is told in drawn-out flashbacks.

It's actually a shame that more new footage featuring the emotionally-crippled Child-Hulk couldn't be used in their place because their zaniness is so weirdly compelling.

Don't get me wrong, this is still a fairly enjoyable romp, albeit for the wrong reasons.

Despite the low-budget qualities, this picture moves right along and includes a quite entertaining performance by Eric Freeman who seems to be modeled after Jack Nicholson's character in The Shinning.

Even when his flashbacks are of new footage, they're still boring, and extremely poorly acted.

Silent Night Deadly Night was a great flick with some very decent acting and enjoyable kill scenes.

Here's the film's biggest problem: there's no plot.

This ridiculously low-rent sequel is a complete botch, and pointless beyond belief.

Just plain dull .

First half of the movie is long drawn out recap of first film.

Constantly moving his eyebrows around, Eric Freeman gives a deliriously over-the-top performance that is enjoyable for the most part, hissing "naughty!

And if you did watch the first one, this film will bore you to tears...

but it's also so over the top that it's quite enjoyable for a small percentage of viewers.

There are many more to list, but frankly, this is getting boring.

He's an intense-looking and mask-free short fuse who at first glance could be either a ski instructor or a paroled sex offender.

But this sequel is damn near unwatchable.

Strong contender for the worst movie ever made .

If you're stuck inside the house on a boring rainy day, watch this...

Not even the murders manage to present anything worth watching, as despite a nice scene that sees someone get electrocuted and another character decapitated; most of them are just the mundane stuff you'd expect from a sequel.

Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 is a terrible film, and one of the contenders for the worst movie ever made.

The final fifteen minutes of this movie are entertaining, sadly this thing is much longer than that.

Not because it's scary or anything (it's not), but because watching it with friends might end up entertaining after all as you laugh together how bad this movie is.

"Silent Night, Deadly Night Part II" is one of the worst movies (and worst movie sequels) that I've ever seen.

Little Ricky comes off like an unemotional jerk who, after slogging thru the endless flashback, strangles his therapist with cassette tape (how original) and begins his dull antics.

There are a number of really pointless sequels going around, and Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 is most definitely one of the most pointless.

Some padded sub-plots can slow it down, the script is laced with mind-numbing dialogues and an amateurishly random score is very inept.

The movie has no plot, and it has no purpose of being made.

I watched it, I enjoyed it, and that's it.

acting, and an enjoyable last 15-20 minutes, but boring, and a poor plot.

This movie is well worth watching for that ten minute segment alone.

If this is the case, then they failed—the film is just tedious garbage.

If You are bored and need a good laugh this move provides.

Oh the first film was trashy, seedy and truly in bad-taste and that's what made the dementedly serious piece entertaining.

The worst movie I have seen in recent memory.

It's boring, drawn out, uninspired, poorly acted, and chock full of some of the most patently ridiculous kills you'll ever have the displeasure of watching.

The script is well written and suspensful, and by the time the climax comes around, we are on the edge of our seats.

This is a heavily flawed film for sure, but it is also far more enjoyable than its low IMDb rating might make one suspect.

and is simply a waste of time.

It has to be the all time worst movie I've ever seen.

The first 45 minutes or so of the film are basically a big compilation of footage from the first film, which gets tedious and boring after awhile.

The movie is much more enjoyable if you don't take it seriously and just see it is as (unintentional) comic genius.

absolute snooze fest....

This may very well be the worst movie I have ever seen.

This is definitely one of the worst movies I have ever seen, and I still can't believe that it actually made it to the cinemas and video stores.

He escapes from the mental hospital to not only avenge Billy's death, but get his hands on the pretentious Mother Superior that caused Billy's terrible descent into madness.

Enjoyable sequel.
