T-34 (2018) - Action, War

Hohum Score

In 1944, a courageous group of Russian soldiers managed to escape from German captivity in a half-destroyed legendary T-34 tank. Those were the times of unforgettable bravery, fierce fighting, unbreakable love, and legendary miracles.

The personal battle between Jäger and Ivushkin as well as the intrepid bravery of the Soviet tank crew under fire fuels the dramatic momentum of "T-34" and makes it compelling to see how the Soviet tankers will triumph over the Germans.

Waste of time .

An enjoyable film that will blast your views of Russian films and give you a Hollywood style escape from reality

For those who are saying that this is russian propaganda, they are right...

That said, I found the film fresh and highly enjoyable.

Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.

The movie is a typical Russian propaganda that depicts brave Russian soldiers keep on fighting despite hopless situation during WWII.

T-34 was a super cool movie, which features plenty of tank action, a good story, and some great slow mo shots.

Wow, absolutely unexpected .

I mean russkies attempts to rewrite the history are getting more and more desperate and boring.

This was actually entertaining.

Double yawn.

This is a well made, exciting action war movie, packed with action scenes and good cinematography.

The movie was entertaining, so I reccomend it to watch, if there is nothing more ambitious within the reach at the moment.

World of Tanks meets Putin's propaganda...

Had potential but propaganda ruined it.

It's a war film, it's enjoyable no mater how far fetched it is, I mean Fury was a thousand times worst and had a bigger budget with at least a few extra zeros on the end, that even Brad Pitt couldn't rescue ,I think for 10 million they did a good job here.

The Special Effects keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Performances are amazing, production design is amazing, cinematography is amazing, editing, effects, and story is uber compelling.

Don't waste your time .

The script is full of nonsense decisions made by Germans, but it is all laughable, so can be added to the entertaining part of the whole.

But very enjoyable non the less.

This movie is complete waste of time.

The battle scenes are detailed, cruel, and exciting.

Ignore the nit pickers and accusations of Russian propaganda, heck all war films are propaganda I mean how many American war films have you seen that aren't?

This was a thoroughly enjoyable WW II movie, with excellent acting, direction and special effects.

By the same token, every war movie is propaganda...

Absolutely brilliant film, story, action, acting but by far the brilliant cinematography, truly stunning!

Omg Russian propaganda movie.

The film's first 35 minutes is an incredible cat and mouse game between tanks, with stunning action and suspense.

The close-up images in the T-34 with its limited movement space, are breathtaking and have a claustrophobic effect.

I've been waching american movies for 30+ years and i'm sick an tierd of their propaganda.

Paphos, narcissism, special effects and a waste of time.

Watching Russian writer & director Aleksey Sidorov's preposterous but entertaining World War II tank thriller "T-34" reminded me of vintage American wartime propaganda films, such as "Desperate Journey" (1942) with Errol Flynn and "Sahara" (1943) with Humphrey Bogart.

Urging American audiences to watch what clearly constitutes an example of Soviet propaganda is probably going to not set right with most people.

This movie held my attention throughout, even though its themes were somewhat trite.

and it's worth watching such stories made by many countries and not just one.

Very far from war reality, but entertaining.

Really enjoyable.

Don't waste your time on this movie.

On the edge of your seat enjoyment from start to finish with some nice humour thrown in which adds to the overall quality and enjoyment of this (in my opinion) masterpiece.

But if you like tanks, this has LOTS of exciting tank action, and lots of views of tank interiors as well as exteriors.

Neat effects and quite exciting.

But the action kept me on the edge of my seat, and the main story arc of the complex relationship between the Russian and the Nazi officers is genius, I thought.

I nearly deleted my sky rental of this movie because of this but stuck with it as it is a tight, if unlikely thrilling yarn.

It's thoroughly entertaining.

Yes, the story has its corny points, but I love the slow mo shell hits.

Waste of time and money.

Without harkening back to the USSR era where eastern front movies were blatant propaganda vehicles, I would heartily endorse that anyone who enjoyed this take a stab at "White Tiger" from a few years ago- plenty of tank action, but backed up by a compelling storyline.

If you are a fan of films such as "Das Boot" or "The Beast" then I would highly recommend it.

On the edge of my seat.

This is like a Soviet war movie, it looks pretty OK, but the story is just propaganda.

A few reviews have complained about the CGI and the Russian propaganda lol I think these reviewers; and I use the term loosely, just read the first review and went on to spout the propaganda nonsense.

Waste of time .

In addition, it's exciting all the time.

Don't waste your time.

Waste of time.

At last 40 minutes the movie also adds stunning aerial views of the battlefield which make it look like a strategy game.

This plot was unexpected, so it kept me watching.

Horrible propaganda movie glorifying war.

The special effects was good and fresh, acting was not bad, some breathtaking shots save the movie as well.

Good story, good casting, good acting, great editing, special effects sometimes a little bit over the top but enjoyable in a way.

It stinks of propaganda material.

Thank's to people who make this tank wars exciting again !

Very Good Entertaining from Start to Finish.

Its entertaining based on action, character, ideas, and visuals, not on getting the message of "war is hell" across.

Full of nonsense, but entertaining.
