One-line Reviews (77)

very predictable.

Beautiful scenery and Dennis Quad in on the mark as a engaging friendly psychopath.

Propaganda.

Everyone did there job to make this a fun and suspenseful movies.

The director's cliche formula is really his own projecting of ridiculous agenda filled perpetuating of multicultural tensions blown out of proportion.

It was fun, entertaining and suspenseful!

This movie was surprisingly more entertaining that expected.

Predictable end...

This film goes for the cheap pops and predictable thrills.

He always seems like he is teetering on the edge and the littlest things set him off.

Thrilling successful with some minor flaws .

To sum up like everyone else is saying it was predictable but entertaining enough and great direction.

its just pretty entertaining.

Very suspenseful as Dennis Quaid perfectly plays his role and steals the show (not that Meagan Good and Michael Ealy weren't on form either).

There's a few laughs in there but it still maintains the suspenseful vibe it's suppose to.

The filmmakers turn Charlie into a leering psycho and the ultimate confrontation is drawn out while Annie fears that Scott is relapsing into marital infidelity.

I enjoyed it and would probably buy it on DVD.

Dennis Quaid looked like a 52 year old in prime form; and he was entertaining as he did feats that your average 65 year old grandpa could only dream of doing.

This is one of the worst movies I have seen in a while.

Meagan Good is well good at her work taking a common role and in some ways refreshing it to make it interesting, engaging and compassionate that you feel for the character.

With the cheapest of jump scares the film is predictable and unintentionally hilarious.

But it still was entertaining, has one twist you won't see coming a mile away.

If you're looking for a thrilling suspenseful creepy and lustful piece of art to begin your date night, The Intruder is the perfect film for you.

Surprisingly Entertaining .

Humorous yet suspenseful thriller .

Don't waste your money, don't waste your time.

Then came the long, tired story line that was filled with silliness and predictable cliches.

The film is pretty fun and has very intense moments that will build anxiety.

Its a truly tame PG-13 affair and I guess its a low key time before the month gets super intense with what's to come in film.

But story was a little slow and overdone.

This movie is the worst movie I have watched all year.

The plot was intriguing, kept me interested as it unfolded, we got to see Charlie's intent with selling and staying at the house.

Walking out of the theater, I remember thinking, "This was potentially the worst movie I have ever seen in my life.

Super thrilling~ .

Suspenseful and exciting movie!

There are, for example, several points in the film that test the relationship of said married couple, and a few minutes later, the tension drops immediately, making it feel absolutely pointless.

Entertaining summer fluff .

Surprisingly entertaining.

DISLIKES:Predictable Trailers ruin much So Much More Potential Some Character balancing Not the Most Intense ending Still Idiotic DecisionsSUMMARY: Despite the good this movie accomplished, it still falls victim to some of the trademarks that come with the Soap Opera like approach.

Intruding into new territory, The Intruder Manages To Refresh Things On This Predictable Tale .

Yet, the full potential of the characters was not quite reached for this reviewer, falling victim to predictable plots, time restraints, and an ending that again is cliché and more attuned to those wanting to lead with their hearts than heads.

On the one hand, the film is fun (thus my 2 stars), but it is full of new Left propaganda about guns, race, and subtle comments against Conservatives.

It's predictable, with many of the "surprising" components deduced a mile away based on the cliché plot points they love to tell.

The reviews, for some reason, are on the low side but this was actually a pretty enjoyable movie.

new, the house known as Foxglove holds stunning engineering work that ropes the modern society in, primarily for stunning view, gorgeous décor, and the atmosphere it brings.

Predictable But Entertaining .

Entertaining .

I found it to be enjoyable in the ending, but I have to admit, I was pretty bored throughout it.

Surprisingly Entertaining .

It was like to fulfil the cliche 'this and that ' had to be in the movie , so they dumped it in!

I would never see this movie again, and it was a waste of $11, and nearly two hours of my time.

In utilizing the characters, spreading the development over the story and utilizing such a playground, the Intruder is able to make an engaging level of suspense that keeps you into the series, much like a mini-series does.

Entertaining enough even with Michael Ealy in it who pretty much acts like he's stoned in all of his bland performances.

Comparatively, "Coal Creek Manor" winds up being ten times more exciting and entertaining than "The Intruder.

I really enjoyed this movie very thrilling and fast paced dennis quaid's acting was excellent

This disparity galls Tokyo--and Sony Pictures, its official propaganda arm--to no end.

It is deliciously flawed, and predictable, but remained entertaining despite knowing that the actions in no way reflect what someone in real life would do.

There's also a sub-plot involving the male lead who is against gun use, which is hardly foused on, which also makes it feel pointless up until the climax.

I found every second of The movie very entertaining.. Charlie was an amazing character

It was incredibly predictable, the humor was terrible.

Edge of my seat exciting.

For some reason the first 15 minutes of this movie are the biggest cliche in movie history.

Boring .

It's much creepier when an actor is silent and works with his eyes and slow movements, instead of overplaying the role.

Worst Movie of 2019 .

Then it became a cliche and very predictable .

A good, entertaining, interesting movie.

One of the worst movies I've seen in my life .

This seemed like cheesy good thrilling fun.

Their realistic portrayals as troubled spouses (and unsure newlyweds) rise above the otherwise formulaic material.

Entertaining .

Instead of thrilling games of survival in the very house they chose, the last bout is a bit more boasting and brutish combat that ends rather quickly and unimpressively.

Waste of money.

I definitely recommend this movie to anyone that likes entertaining type movies.

Super exciting .

It's worth watching.

One of the better suspenseful/thriller movies out there nowadays.
