AS OF EPISODE 5: The problem is that it's boring and the characters, even the original cast, are BORING.

In all, it was a disjointed, boring-in-spots effort.

So phony and contrived, so California.

It was boring, cliche, the acting is terrible, the director jumps around to so many characters and storyline, everything gets lost in this muddy swirl of a bad student film.

But even Bette, Shane and Alice are disjointed in this new iteration.

Ugh, yeah, this series devotes so much uninteresting screen time to the boring minutiae of running for political office.

The plots are predictable and the show in general is a little underwhelming.

It's all just very predictable and cringeworthy.

The new actors are great additions with compelling and modern stories, and the old characters are aging and assimilating to a changing world and culture within the LGBTQ community.

The storyline is dull .

I so wish they would have casted people with a similar vibe to the OG L Word because the chemistry between these characters and their relationships are very bland, theres no connection whatsoever.

I had to look away from the screen at times to do something else because some of the parts of the episodes were either boring or cringey.

I had to watch episode 7 twice because it was really that entertaining!

I was a big fan of the show, being gay and having gay female characters on screen was exciting.

It was totally engaging and super glad to see the original ladies.

Nice to see several of my favorite characters return to reprise their roles from the original, along with some engaging newcomers, especially Dani (Arienne Mandi) and Nat (Stephanie Allynne).

The acting is bland and the chemistry is not the same with the 3 OG's.

It was so unexpected.

No story.

) but so far this is bland and forced to be overly PC.

In the first ten minutes alone, there are about 3 sex scenes, like ok we get it, lesbians have sex, but is there no story here?

Yes, the first few episodes were uncomfortable, confusing and in many ways annoying.

Uninteresting characters living a deviant lifestyle and all the drama that supposedly can go along with it.

Very unwatchable .

The storyline is dull and there is no 'soul' to any episode, every plot line is predictable, and honestly pretty cheesy.

In E5, the dialogue between Dany and Sophie in the car is SO BORING and trite.

Just pointless sex and snogging for no reasons, usual dollop of anti straight white men and making men look stupid.

Alice's girlfriend is SO boring.

That stuff really dragged on too much in the original series.

You are both entertaining and saving lives.

If I were watching this show separate from the original, I wld just find it boring and underwhelming; I'd rather watch Lost Girl, Wynonna, Orphan Black, Sense8 which are way more interesting even Work in Progress which is fabulous and has found a way to portray new queer culture just via plotline.

It's like the same old, same old re-hashed, plus all the politically correct stuff thrown in for good measure, and there's basically no storyline?

Boring mindless load of rubbish.

I know the actress is married to Tig Nataro, but watching her in One Mississippi was tedious and she bored the crap out of me there too.

And although a lot was scorned and criticism was leveled at often-despised Jenny character and some others, when put next to the reprise, it truly highlights how excellent, engaging and daring the original was.

I hate to say this, but I find the actress that plays Finley to be borderline unwatchable.

The story line is very cliche , and it seems unrealistic at times .

The characters are boring, the relationships feel fake and cringy, everything about this is so terrible that I had to stop watching after three episodes.
