Did you actually think that one glimpse of Claire Danes in a black bodysuit was enough to make up for rotten acting, confusing plotline and ridiculous premise?

I watched this movie for the first time the other day and was bored to tears.

A confusing screenplay, disappointingly directed, with performances only as good as the writing allowed.

With very little plot, poor acting (some exceptions), and terrible lighting, we are subjected to an extremely bad imitation of the old television series.

it is one of the most boring, worst acted piece of drivel that i have EVER seen.

Realistic performances make up for a slow-moving convoluted plot.

Even if one can suspend disbelief, the story is predictable, sometimes incomprehensible and has a few holes.

This movie bears little resemblance to the original, which is to say this movie is in fact entertaining.

i really felt that was a waste of time, got less hours of my sacred sleeping time...

The Mod Squad is entertaining, fun and stylish film with a subtle tongue in cheek.

The film moves at a fast pace never, a lull in action.

I was surprised by just how uninspired the whole thing was: it had a cool cast, cool music and the potential for tongue in cheek snappy action.

Other than that, this was one of the worst movies I ever saw.

This is the worst movie I have EVER seen, worse then "Soldier" Do not see this film.

The action sucked, the plot was disjointed and unsupported, and the character development left a lot to be desired.

Another scene that was pointless was Linc and his parents.

Third, and most importantly, the script is horribly predictable.

The whole Mod Squad thing also was mostly pointless.

Don't waste your time with this turkey.

All the while, there a few too many repetitive gags involving a vintage green Lincoln.

This may just be the worst movie of all time.

THE MOD SQUAD contained a lot of exciting action scenes that kept my interest focused on the movie.

A very enjoyable film .

A tedious exercise .

Epps looks like he's asleep through the whole picture (he's probably as bored as we are).

The Mod Squad incorporates every cliche in book, except at the end.

boring, cheesy, cliche .

I lost track of the plot at this point or maybe there was no plot and the movie was just chopped together from various leftovers from other TV series remakes.

Ribisi, Danes and Epps are far too talented for this pointless charade, and Farina is capable of much better than playing the ever familiar boss who ends up dead.

As far as action, I found the emotional struggles to be far more compelling than the action scenes (which, do not, BTW, define a good film).

I walked out of the theater and demanded and got my money back!

The plot is horribly contrived, and some of the script is unbearably unreal.

A pointless, nowhere story line that surrounds a collection of half developed over-dramatic depressed teen-angst/criminal turned cops.

But Giovani Ribisi turns in a great performance, making a horrible role mildly entertaining.

Throw in the weird scene where Epps has to dance with an old man, and you have what quite possibly COULD BE the worst movie in cinema history.

mildly entertaining, not great.

There's even a point when I believe the film makers figured out how pedestrian the film was, panicked, and threw in a self-mocking comment about how cliche it was to have the final confrontation in an abandoned warehouse.

Don't waste your time - it's useless.

I loved the Mod Squad because even though the actors didn't have a very good story, they still managed to make it enjoyable and humorous, and the performances by Giovanni Ribisi, Claire Danes and Omar Epps were outstanding even if the movies itself wasn't above average.

A chase of some sort takes place, but it was long and drawn out - the perfect time to make a snack.

Don't waste your time.

The commercials made it look real cool and action packed.

So so so dull.

Even worse than the typical pointless remake .

It was that, another thrilling episode of "Ironsides" or "Password.

It was a little boring, I'll admit.

There is some good music but by itself, the movie is kind of boring.

Long lingering shots of the female lead became dull.

Don't waste your money.

The entire movie is a cliche', the characters and their relationships.

There was no plot!

The plot twists are predictable, as well as the ending.

So because this is a mess, and because it has some young actors that could be talented, its worth watching to see what they do behind the adult's backs.

The movie was slow, the dialogue between actors/actresses felt "flat" and basically there was no development of the characters in the story.

Bad plot, uninteresting movie.

This movie just seemed to have many boring spots and just wasn't entertaining.

Josh Brolin ("Nightwatch") puts a sense of sneakiness and wit into his unpredictable character.

The Humor in it is what I found most enjoyable.

This film is worth watching several times over, I never cease to laugh at the carwash antics!!

Boring, lifeless, not once did I find myself interested in any of the characters.

I WALKED OUT OF THE THEATER AND GOT MY MONEY BACK.

Funny, Serious, Engaging, Satisfying .

I watched it several times just so I could absorb the unexpected charm it does have.

A boring, incoherent mess with unbelievably bad dialogue, lapses in story and ludicrous plot devices(although I bet Clare Danes wishes she spent the rest of this disaster in the bedroom closet).

And the editing was very disjointed, so that the scenes didn't seem to flow together and they all seemed out of place.

The only thing that can be said about the script is, it's very predictable, despite the early killing off of squad leader Adam Greer (Dennis Farina phoning it in).

And yes, it's boring, because is so slow, 'cause there is no decent conflict at all.

I was bored and had to use all the self control I have to not scream at the screen.

This is one of the most boring films I've ever seen.

Actually it's kinda enjoyable, at least on the level of the routine TV action- series episodes it was inspired by (and which its musical score conspicuously imitates).

The Mod Squad is an enjoyable movie, when not wanting something serious to watch.

The just over 90-minute runtime drags more than it should There's nothing that held my interest, Long stretches of tedious dialogue and lifeless action.

This has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

And from what I've been reading from other comments [which I find are funny and entertaining],NO Way Jose am I watching this movie.

The soundtrack is very good though, and some of the camera angles are original, but all In all, it's too boring for its own good.

There may have been some dialogue of questionable integrity and a slightly muddled plot, but all in all this was an entertaining movie.

If edited correctly, the film would have flowed more smoothly and I wouldn't have been bored during the first half of the film.

For the most part, I was bored, even with all the action and such, and a major reason for this might have been that I didn't like the characters.

This is just tedious.

Alas, the filmmakers botched it with a dull, hackneyed "dirty cops on the inside" plot we've seen countless times before.

I Enjoyed It.

Low & Boring .

It's plot is lame, it's script full of clunky dialogue and the product uninspiring and dull.

I'd say its primary flaw is that it's BORING.

Claire Danes(as Julie) truly shocked me with her performance because it was so dull.

45 minutes into I was fighting to stay awake.

Mod Squad was beyond cheesy, beyond cliche, and utterly predictable.

Second, it's all so dull.

The story is confusing.

"Mod Squad" is dreary, tiring, and lethargic.

"The Mod Squad" is a bizarre film that, like your relationship with your ex-girlfriend, leaves you wondering just what you were thinking when you decided to waste part of your life on it.

like the actors were uninspired or something with such a dull plot.

The plot is a tired, boring police corruption set-up that's been done much better a million times(L.

Giovanni Ribisi ("Friends") provides UN-funny comic relief, which really doesn't fit in, but is still enjoyable.

Boring .
