Songs are a good fit and have been placed well in the movie & i believe, you will leave the theater humming one of the slow songs.

The pace drops & the thrills become very predictable.

An angelic woman with a stunning smile and a handsome man are introduced.

There is one brilliant sequence in which the two main protagonists play chess with pieces immersed in vodka shots.

The film boasted to be a great thriller, but turned out to be a very predictable ,low on action movie.

2nd half catches the pace and both Amitabh & Farhan Khan are just fascinating.

And the dialogues really promised that something exciting is coming ahead focusing on the game of chess with lines such as, "Khel Khel Mein, Khel Khel Ke, Khel Khel Yeh Aa Jayega".

I sat through the gripping first half without moving a muscle, for fear of missing something.

However, she looks breathtaking in almost every shot from the movie.

The denouement is surprising, though appears contrived on hindsight.

Danish Ali is recovering, with excruciating slowness, from a deeply personal tragedy his wife Ruhana is suffering too, in her own solitary corner.

when the scenes are disjointed, the story is less than weak, the villains are like brainless cartoons, and ending that makes no sense.

Riveting thriller with powerful performances .

This is an exciting film about how life can be like a game of chess, and how some hapless people can be pawns manipulated by master tacticians and others can be ruthless castles, directed to devastate.

The movie has good music which makes the movie more intense.

This movie is extremely entertaining and interesting as there is not a single dull moment in the film.

Kashmir looks stunning.

Any thriller works due to its unpredictable nature, which sadly, this one lacks!

What a thrilling start of 2016!!.

But overall, the movie is worth watching and the acting from both Farhan and Amit Sir will touch your heart.

The movie takes off smoothly like an airplane and picks up a good pace in the early stages, soon the plot changes and gears are shifted as the movie takes several turns, the movie doesn't get slow anywhere, it shows the transitions in a man's life perfectly, who has been the epicenter of a great tragedy, Amitabh sir justifies his role and delivers what's expected of him, on the other hand Farhan fits perfectly in the shoes of the character he has played, plot is intriguing with hints of suspense that grips you slowly as the story progresses, there is a nice twist to the story which has been timed perfectly and justifies the plot.

The engrossing content with all well-directed, enacted and written sequences continued till the next 50 minutes along a pulsating background score enhancing it well.

This is a gripping story that has been beautifully enacted by Amitabh and Farhan.

In short, whatever praises or positives I had in mind about the film related to its brilliant shot taking, engaging story progression, crisp editing, an interesting cast ensemble, few likable songs, some well written dialogues, intense performances and more, simply turned into big negatives post intermission and WAZIR became an extremely disappointing dud in the end with neither the foolish suspense twist nor the laughable execution working in any manner in the strange final hour so shockingly.

If only Wazir was as gripping, sleek, stylish, and taunt as shown in the films trailer.

's efforts in the story and screenplay department to an engaging thriller while extracting some powerful performances through his exciting cast.

But somewhere if you can guess the suspense, it becomes predictable and you may lose interest.

The supporting actors too made the plot more gripping with their convincing performances.

In his brief role, Manav Kaul is quite intense.

Predictable .

The story, despite being minutely predictable is great and the actors.. Well I don't need to say it, do I?

There is little that deviates from the intriguing plot other than extended sequences of grieving characters, coupled with slow melodies in the background.

It was a sharp and gripping movie and doesn't stretch very long unnecessarily.

First half of movie is very slow except, its starting 15 minutes and before interval 15 minutes.

The premise is explosive, intense and engaging.

The ending of movie became very predictable halfway through the story making it just a formality to watch the complete movie.

com (Spoilerless reviews)Looking at the movie timeline and the thrilling theme that it portrays, it feels that it's crisply made.

Apart from the love birds, everyone else wanted to be on the edge of their seats too.

Predictable plot, sloppy screenplay.

I will try to keep it short and simple.. Aditi Rao.. She looks stunning in her Comeback look.. Gorgeous.. Farhan is looking perfect in the role of a Honest Policemen who is also married to this beautiful lady and also, he is a father of a sweet girl.. Base is set up on Romance and love.. Seems like another.....

Additionally, Panditji's ploy to motivate Danish into securing justice for his deceased daughter seems way too contrived and downright inconceivable, regardless how much one's willing to suspend disbelief.

Waste of Time .

Movie is so predictable.

A worth watching flick.

The 5 minute presence of John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh were engaging.

Amitab and Farhan, two of the best brains in bolly meet together for this intriguing game of chess, which is laden with twists and turns and takes you through an overall thrilling ride.

Go with lesser expectation and enjoy this thrilling game of chess.

So, at this stage, i must compliment Vidhu Vinod Chopra for attempting a story based on the waning game, winning a dream cast and getting it directed as a fast paced thriller with original action sequences.

The narrative is intriguing and Bijoy has pulled it off brilliantly.

It's worth watching.

Yet, he pulls this off with a tight screenplay, intriguing plot and an appetite for no-nonsense.

This dominoes the film into it's thrilling climax.

It was so gripping with Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar playing some serious roles in it.

The reference to chess strategies makes the ending more predictable if one has sound knowledge of chess.

Don't waste your time with this one.

The movie dragged the separation segment of Danish and Rohana a bit too much which gave the Bollywoodish look and missed some crucial parts on the main story.

The plot is gripping and movie is in general fast paced.

This movie was so entertaining but I enjoyed it and entertaining and enjoyable I love the songs I love the movie so entertaining and enjoyable I enjoyed watching the movie and entertaining movie and movie movie review and entertaining movie movie review u is superb as editing as well and enjoyable and storyline enjoyable storyline movie review review for a great great hero great storyline and storyline enjoyable excellent storyline great and storyline entertaining storyline great storyline and storyline enjoyable excellent storyline great storyline and entertaining and storyline great storyline and entertaining Storyline is good screenplay is good editing is good direction is good Background music is superb songs are excellent Amitabh is superb farhan does well aditi is fine Neil is amazing as the villain John Abraham does well in his special appearance 8/10

The engaging screenplay in the first half will keep you hooked till interval, the second half of the movie will need your patience and then the climax will blow you off.

And twits are predictable after a certain point of time.

I really enjoyed this movie and walked out feeling sad and good.

Danish Ali (Farhan Akhtar) is recovering, with excruciating slowness, from a deeply personal tragedy; his wife Ruhana (Aditi Rao Hydari) is suffering too, in her own solitary corner.

Acting was good, except in case of Neil Nitin Mukesh, his acting was unbearable.

Apart from the predictable plot, a well executed movie.

On a Tuesday evening, getting a full house show for a intense thriller is something to commemorate about.

Amitab Bachchan with his acting excellence presents himself as a full fledged quality performer, his character filled with pain, brilliance, mystery and with slight touch of fun creates a mark on viewers, Farhan Akthar as an ATS officer renders his best acting, his serious and tough shaded role suits him perfectly, John Abraham cameo has good prominence in the flow, Neil Nitin Mukesh with the dark shade tremendously presents himself, Aditi Rao Hydari with her strong performance fills the intensity of the flow, Farhan and Aditi chemistry worked very well, intense BGM glorifies the suspense of the plot and tunes the scene perfectly, editing is very sharp and crispier, director Bejoy Nambiar handled the work very perfectly and his attempt of combining two good actors worked very well.

Chasing of Farhan on the road of Delhi is breathtaking.

Biggest negative point about this movie is boring screenplay and some emotional scenes that were really not required.

1, for fooling me into thinking that this might actually be worth watching..and 1, for fooling Amitabh and Farhan into being part of this scam.

As a matter of fact, many in the theater could be found chatting and checking their cell phones post interval with the slow songs killing the pace even in a 103 minutes film making you strongly feel the repulsion.

Chess is an intriguing game, where the player plans ahead anticipating the opponent's moves.

Worth Watching .

The story is interesting and it will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next.

The climax is the highlight of the movie though it was predictable.

Rise above if you must and pay attention to this riveting game.

Overall Wazir was a fantastic drama thriller film, with brilliant acting, with many interesting twists and turns, which will have you on the edge of our seat.

Maula is a pretty good soul searching qawwali while the theme song is well suited for the thrilling moments.

The pace drops & the thrills become very predictable.

While far from perfect as a whole, "Wazir's" thrilling opening action sequence, Bachchan's expectedly superlative act, and some edgy scenes make it worth meriting a trip to the theater.
