There are some entertaining scenes like Vidya taking disguises and trying to solve the case, Vidya and her team taking the auditions, Vidya's bonding with her mother, tiff with her father, Vidya helping Ali to talk with his dad, Vidya and family on Biriyani hunt and a few more.

Patchy screenplay, boring songs, forced melodrama further pull the film down.

Director Samar Sheikh tries to keep 'Bobby Jassos' simple and engaging.

A baseless comedy and boring thriller .

There is no story.

'Jashn' and 'Sweety' are enjoyable.

The movie does get a bit slow in the second act when an indigestible romance blooms between Bobby and Tasawur played by a very adolescent looking Ali Fazal.

The first half is brilliant, funny and entertaining.

Samar does full justice to his main lead character of 'Bobby Jassos' and narrates it in an interesting and enjoyable manner.

This thing is totally unrelated to the main story, but i m just trying to highlight how confusing things are in this movie.

Vidya Balan's 'Bobby Jassos' might not end up being on the line of 'The Sherlock Holmes' or our own 'Feluda' but will come close to becoming a lady 'Karamchand', which was sweet, funny and entertaining.

And those movies were pretty entertaining even if swordplay or action was equally involved in increasing the stakes for characters.

before the film could actually become boring for some.

So, Bobby Jasoos is a definite recipe for entertainment, but falters when thinking movie-goers find and deride and ridicule and debate the pretentious story it so heavily depends on.

Bobby Jasoos has an interesting start, a decent middle but an absolutely pointless Manmohan Desai style ending.

Turned down by a detective agency because of uninspiring credentials , Bobby who is a resident of Moghulpura in the bustling old city of Hyderabad, starts an agency of her own with a few accomplices.

Likable because of Balan, and any of her ardent admirer would rather find it much enjoyable than others.

But as it picks up pace we are introduced some of the people that seems like a cliché examples of typical characters from all of the Bollywood movies I detest watching.

I went to watch this movie today and I enjoyed it.

The screenplay is sweet: while the first one hour is used up to narrate the life of Bobby & her family and her acquaintances, the second half is averagely gripping.

Bobby Jasoos seems to be a half baked, self pretentious attempt in directing by Samar Shaikh and endorsed by Diya Mirza as a Producer, whose skills could have been better utilized as an actress to save this movie a little.

It's only due to her entertaining performance you are glued to this film.

A detective venture is bound to have a thrilling and intriguing climax revealing all the hidden secrets in style by its main protagonist.

The authenticity of the setting, locations, and the flawlessly consistent diction of every major and minor character contribute in making the proceedings all the more engaging.

As it promised a very entertaining plot similar to the classic Japanese series of Hibari Torimonocho where a female detective in ancient Japan investigates cases.

While the film can be considered short at just 121 minutes, it feels somewhat dragged occasionally, and fails to let viewers invest their emotions into any of the characters except of the lead character.

Its one thing to have unlimited charm and its another to carry a movie on her sole shoulders from start till end, all the while entertaining.

Excellent movie, worth watching .

In essence, detective films have a challenge to keep the story engrossing because there is not much of a visual narration in films like this.

But I've been expecting the story line need to be more genuine and serious which came out confusion in between of the film.

Vidya Balan has played her part wonderfully well, however the film is neither thrilling nor comic, and to top it up ends up on a melodramatic note.
