While predictable and muddled at times, it never gets too soppy and has some memorable and well-executed moments.

It's boring, I was continuously jumping ahead and it overall made zero sense to me.

The direction is a bit dull with the romantic drama.

An enjoyable YA movie .

Nevertheless, it's a good movie and I can safely say I enjoyed it.

The movie starts with such a great subject I w hi honey they starts developing characters in a non cliche way, which is good for the genre.

Henry falls quickly and hard for Grace, though she's much slower to come around.

The movie certainly doesn't bring anything new in the plot or the story telling, but with a cast like they have, it should truly be enjoyable by viewers of all ages.

This character in the film was boring.

It does get kind of boring with Henry and Grace going back and forth with there love for each other.

It might feel slow and that's the pace of the movie - nice and easy.

The movie feels very cliché too with the high school set up etc, I think I would've liked it a lot better if It had taken place elsewhere (two people meeting somewhere different than a high school).

I felt there was a difference that distinguished this film from other coming of age films.

One is a mildly pretentious school newspaper editor, who looks plucked straight from whoville.

A slow toned teenage romance .

Screenplay was awesome enjoyed it to the core.

This is a waste of time.. seriously, deserves less than 2 but i like the colors and dark theme of the movie other than that wont recommend weak story, no plot, slow and boring.

This is one of the types of coming of age movies that I like.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

No, but it will more then likely bore you.

Confusing and awkward at times .

There was little to enjoy about the story, and I spent most of the runtime completely bored.

An extraordinary tale of the confusion one faces as a teenager, no longer held within the safe boundaries familiar in our childhood, but not yet possessing a mind that's "done baking", if you will, mature enough to stand firm, ready to meet the sometimes frightening, often exciting, unknown demands of adult life.

The movie seemed very pretentious from the start and the plotline is bizzare.

However, the outcome is confusing and the story is somewhat tangled.

It could have been a very good movie but alas, it turns out to be a boring one.

Another is what Henry's doctor sister says about chemical changes in the minds of teenagers, as they start to leave behind childhood and cope with what it means to be a young adult.

Acting was pretty good but the plot felt rushed and I found myself quite bored, I probably wouldn't watch it again and it will be one of those films I'll probably forget watching in a couple of days.

The story line was long a drawn out and her character was so intense and didn't make sense at some points.

However, at the end of the day, Chemical Hearts was a chore to get through, with an uninteresting plot and weak characters, and I would highly recommend to stay away from it.

The screenplay was full of clichés, very uninteresting, and doesn't fully explore the themes that it tries to tackle.

However, the outcome is confusing and the story is somewhat tangled.

The character of Henry also was seen dealing with his firsts, and also like any teenager the want of something exciting or unusual to happen in life/in his senior years.

I really enjoyed this film and found the script realistic, i sometimes find coming of age films to have dialogue that isn't very natural for the age of the characters.

boring, bizarre and kind of avoidable .

Coming of age is new normal.

The story rather focuses on what most teenagers feel nowadays; attraction, loneliness, guilt, pressure, flaws, exploring of new feelings and then trying to run away from it, young love, unexpected responses and simply pain.
