Pretending to be different, but it is just really slow and boring, .

Waste of time .

Intriguing Drama .

She was perfectly cast and is absorbing to watch, which is lucky because she is in every scene of the movie.

Her confusion and inability to demonstrate the truth of her thoughts and experiances causes the people around her to become convinced that she is suffering from a mental breakdown causing the delusions, (just like most observers of the film)In truth, at the end of the loop, she connects with a man, intimately.

Overall, the reason the movie is so confusing and psychedelic is because that is the main character's new reality.

Don't waste your time .

A waste of good time.

So boring and dull.

Suspenseful, Trippy, Intense, Great Imagery with an ending that makes it hard to know what was reality .

I watched it without seeing any preview or knowing anything about it, and up until 3/4 of the way through I kept wondering when the paranormal / alien abduction action was going to start, and was annoyed at how slow the pace was.

That poor girl is so buried within herself that she lost her path, having only memories, related to traumas and a dull job.

Don't waste your time.

Just way too slow.

Worst movie ever!

For every part this film is bad, it's also bizarre and confusing in a way that kind of captured me.

Worth the watch .

However in truth, movies in which the meaning and conclusions are left up to the beholder are much more thought provoking, and in my opinion, fascinating.

If you like intense, deep, and dramatic (not soapy) science fiction, then you're going to love this.

Overall a slow trip to crazy that the viewer would enjoy more if they were very high.

Overall Overall this is one of the worst films I have seen in a long time, it is so slow and boring to watch, it tries to be more philosophical then it is and will be a waste of time if you watch it.

Some people have been calling this quirky and fun, when in reality it's suffocating and boring.

Slow, confusing, boring.

Waste of time .

My biggest complaint about this movie is the ending, just seemed bizarre to me other wise was a good way to waste a bit of time with something engaging

After reading several reviews saying the movie was both 'too slow' and 'too weird', i expected much less from the movie.

I image that the writers tried to do something different, but the final product it is just a boring girl talking about a TV serie and doing random actions.

Just more confusion.

Intriguing, eerie and amazing female lead, a rare find indeed.

The confusing causing this with the viewer is a bit of a similar feeling as being psychotic

Sometimes a good movie can be just purely an art form in itself breaking away from norms, journey through unknown territories and unfolding of the unexpected.

Overall, I thought this film was well contrived and excellently executed.

All in all, a very interesting movie, well worth watching if you enjoy psychological thrillers and/or character driven stories.

Even if you don't quite comprehend what is happening, it's always strangely and certifiably compelling.

Waste of time Kept thinking it would get better.

But that was due to the fact that I spent so much of this waste of my time rolling my eyes so could not see the screen.

Gripping .

I have ADD and am normally very bisy in my head while watching a movie, but this movie had such an amazing slow build towards chaos that I didn't look at my phone once, got up to get some food or anything.

This film is not a comedy; it's a silent, understated tragedy; a study of slow, irreparable descent into mental illness.

This one starts slow.

fascinating....

The movie is super slow, lots of down moments when nothing really happens.

aside from that i enjoyed it very much.

Strong premise predictable execution .

The cinematography is excellent and paints a beautiful picture throughout and adds the over-the-top emotional cherry to this fascinating film.

Her portrayal of a lonely, traumatised woman with no social acumen is heartbreaking to watch, because she nails it all, from the goofy looks to the expressions of terror and confusion all at once, to the complete conviction that she's right to the sudden mental and emotional flips beyond her control.

I think I appreciated it, rather than enjoyed it, although perhaps that's the right emotion to experience.

If you want something to fall asleep to, this is the right choice.

It's weird but refreshingly different and unexpected.

slow and boring .

Definitely worth the watch, as long as you're open to a variety of ideas.

A slow rollercoaster ride you did not asked Form .

I did, and I enjoyed it even more that the first time around.

The last flick I felt this for was Being John Malkovitch: that sense of just having seen something unusually creative, with a twisting unpredictable narrative, something which I would not have thought could be made in this day an age with such high production values.

It was her performance and the slow unraveling that kept me engaged.

Ultimately though all these little touches aren't enough to rescue this from the mundane, disjointed nonsense.

It seemed to me very pretentious resulting at last in a very poor, weak and trivial representation.

Too Slow, not Worth it .

Boring psyco .

The direction and script is dull and tedious at times.

Some parts were a bit confusing and the back stories at times were not as clearly explained as might have liked how ever this didint matter so much over all.

Just long tiresome seens that added nothing.

Complete waste of time, no conclusion and really no point - I wish people would stop making this rubbish and stop being pretentious by suggesting it's "amazing".

Worth checking out for her acting alone but I enjoyed the intriguing story, and exploration of mental health.

Dont waste u r time the movie ends and i did't get the idea from it

However, all that aside I enjoyed it and thought Brie was excellent.

But her character is just really bland and boring to watch, she is one of the most bizzare characters to have been put on film and I just never saw a reason to care about her character and the plight that she was put in.

To all the people calling this movie dull and boring: you have the attention span of a goldfish, please find a movie that fits in your bowl.

Frustratingly mundane.

Another "Artsy for the sake of being artsy" tedious bore!!.

She must of had a rich uncle and he gave her backing to make a self indulgent weird odd movie.

From the beginning, and this is being generous, up until the 35-minute mark this really wasn't that bad, but then it just fell flat on its face and Drug itself and Drug itself until it became so utterly boring, strange (and not in a good way) that it was time to turn this movie off.

Great slow pace and a spiral into possible madness.

It was too slow to get there, boring scenes not relevant that made you feel like, 'where is this movie going?

A similar story was explored by syfy author Robert Heinlein in his classic story of Lazarus Long, in "Time Enough for Love"Well worth the watch, just don't fall into the trap of mental illness....

The director makes it seem like you are just going through the (very well developed) character's daily life with the same captivating nostalgia that has made "Stranger Things" the most enjoyable series of the century.

Worst movie I've seen in years!

Intriguing and gripping the whole way through, sort of in a mesmerising way.

Trying to be clever but only succeeding in predictive, tedious and ridiculous.

Good movie, but perhaps confusing intent & genres.

The beginning of the film is reminiscent of the "lonely girl finds love" story, seemingly bland, with a girl next door type trying to find her place in the world.

Thrilling .

Don't waste your time watching this movie.

Absolutely horrible What a waste of time Fell like I need to paid for my time here I feel less intelligent for just watching it

Alison Brie does a beautiful job of showing the slow decent into major schizophrenic delusions and hallucinations - likely genetic in nature as the movie alludes to.

This creates a confusing, messy narrative that doesn't want to settle on either side of mental breakdown or supernatural, and on the surface the film suffers for that.

The direction and script was kind of dull with making the characters underwritten.

The pace is just far too slow, and I could hardly bear it.

It was intense at times to me.

It almost lost me in the first 20 minutes, but Alison Brie pulled me in with her stunning beauty and quirkiness.

Three words: Pointless gutter tripe A couple of hours of my life I can never get back .

This is the point that has been sadly missed by those reviewers who accuse the film of having no plot, whereas it actually has two concurrent plots; one based on reality and the other portraying Sarah's decline into HER alternative reality.

Too confusing, too many incomplete back-story teasers .

I wont go into too many details of the movie, but I encourage you to watch it, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

To all the people saying this movie was confusing: hello Sherlock, you still didn't get it.

If you like dull and boring....
