Now seriously, "Sleepaway Camp II" is a fun, entertaining, somehow gory Slasher flick.

Waste of time .

Then again, the dialogue is the most entertaining thing in the movie.

This first sequel isn't nearly as 'essential', but it still stands as a highly enjoyable and relaxing film.

I give Sleepaway camp 2 an 8 out of 10 for it's great entertaining value.

I would personally put this movie along side such gems as Pieces, Slumber Party Murders, Happy Birthday To Me, because Sleepaway Camp 2, like those films, is enjoyable because of the fact that it is so cheesy.

It just makes me sad, just thinking that some people are going to stumble upon Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1988) on video or DVD, and waste their time with this sad, cynical, depressing movie.

I first saw this film in 1995 under the title Nightmare Vacation and was pleasantly surprised, there are lots of laughs in this film and it is quite entertaining.

Writer Fritz Gordon is some what daring and a bit imaginative with sometime swift and other times tedious death scenes.

It's a bit samey all the way through, murder after murder, but it's still entertaining.

Very enjoyable sequel with an Okay cast of no ones excpet Angela and Molly.

the early to mid 90s I loved critter/gremlin movies.. I watched all the ones I could get my hands on.. Ghoulies (all the way up to 3, or maybe 4), the fantasy adventure Troll, the House movies.. the only real cult horror films I'd experienced were Texas Chainsaw 2, Re-Animator (very vivid memories of it from watching it back on cable at some point), and Phantasm 2 (the ball, which later prompted me to rediscover it and pick up both at Best Buy.. eventually 3 and 4 off the internet).. That was my basis for horror.. then 2000 came, where I went crazy at the video rental place.. chose horror flicks at random.. sitting through dreadful crap like Subspecies and Puppet master.. but making it also to the good stuff, which made it worth it, like the Hellraiser flicks (all five of which I now own on tape, and will the 6th when it comes out.. cause, even a bad Hellraiser is far more entertaining than most other 'good' horror flicks..) ..I also went to Phantasmania, which was a great experience.. got to meet Don Coscarelli, Reggie Bannister, and Angus Scrimm, and getting my 4 Phantasm movies signed by each...

if you watch this movie, you will probably be a bored and unhappy camper.

Emilo Estevez's sister Renee as the boring good girl.

Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers is a decent enough slasher that passed 90 odd minutes but it left me a bit cold & a bit empty, even for a 80's slasher this seems shallow & predictable.

The story is pretty shallow and cliché for an 80's slasher also.

It doesn't try to act any smarter than it actually is, it never tries to be anything it's not, it's just an incredibly entertaining little B-movie that gives the audience what it wants.

Obviously not the greatest, but very entertaining .

Once again there is basically no plot and the acting is not so good.

I mean, it was bad, but it was enjoyable.

In a different league than the original, but still entertaining .

and The film is very Fun and entertaining.

Entertaining sequel.

This movie moves at an ultra fast paced that makes it 79 minute run time seem like only thirty and leaves you wanting more and they gave us more a year later.

As I don't judge a movie until i have see the whole movie, so i re-re watch this movie tonight,I did not turn of this times however, i did find the movie every entertaining and there was some dull moment here and there in the movie.

What makes Springsteen's Angela fascinating is the subtle melancholy that characterizes her.

It's not a particularly well made film, with production values equal to the worst of the Friday the 13th sequels and the dull, repetitive nature of the film will have many viewers snoozing off.

It is entertaining in the same way as the original was, in that the characters and wardrobes are so goofy and so authentically 80's that you can't help getting a good laugh.

I highly recommend it.

Ultimately, SAC II is pretty boring, and I really did want to sleep away the camp.

It is entertaining.

I saw this few years again, i tired to watch early in the week after seeing first movie, the next day i planned to watch this movie, I found the movie a bit dull as i could sit thought so turned it off.

Of course, a lot of credit has to go to Springsteen who is certainly fun and entertaining here.

But Sleepaway camp 2 shows us how entertaining these movies can be when almost everything goes as it should.

But after a while, the cheesy horror grows tiresome (they could've chipped in just a tad more money for the f/x) and script is so devoid of original ideas that the film gets too lame for its own good.

*sigh* Or when Angela realizes she has to kill the gossipy character in the next room, and she goes on the hunt for a suitable weapon, testing all the mundane everyday items lying around, weighing each in her mind, trying to find just the right one.

The film is held back by bad acting, Slow and Boring pace and terrible, Terrible jokes.

story, and a few laughs, but slow at times and mediocre acting.

Intense In Tents .

Well, this is an improvement on part one, which was pretty enjoyable, with touches of humor and a victim close to every five minutes or so, each done in by a different means.

Boring and sick with a stupid plot, pointless nudity and bad gore.

I know to most of the younger people today the old stuff is boring and ridiculous, my nephew even said that they were dumb because they were not scary!

Not big or clever, but definitely a very entertaining sequel.

rip-off, it is so much fun and so entertaining, I actually gave it a pretty high rating.

Renee Estevez, daughter of Martin Sheen, plays the virginal heroine but her character is utterly boring.

) The original, while still enjoyable on a high-cheese level, took itself a bit too seriously.

Pros: Entertaining, doesn't take itself too seriously like SC I.

While Felissa Rose was the scariest Angela by far, Pamela Springsteen is the most enjoyable.

After intensive therapy (and a little nip 'n' tuck to get rid of unwanted appendages), sexually confused psycho killer Angela returns to Camp Arawak, the scene of her killing spree seven years earlier—this time as a counsellor (they really need to tighten up on their background checks at that place!

A movie like this is clearly its own animal, so comparing it to any of the more serious-minded slasher fare that preceded it is rather pointless.

No real plot summary necessary here.

This movie is really good if your bored and want to play a generic horror drinking game or if you want a night of fun with B movies.

On the down side, while Angela is very entertaining, the movie doesn't go far enough.

Pamela Springsteen as the crazed Angela is more funny then scary and her victims, for the most part, are the typical horny teenagers who always end up dead in slasher films just for the "crime" of exposing themselves and engaging in sex.

"Sleepaway Camp 2:Unhappy Campers" is certainly entertaining for the die-hard slasher fans.

From the get go, the killer's identity is known to the audience, and so very little suspense is achieved; the result is a dull series of daft murders (which offer a smattering of cheesy gore), punctuated by some welcome scenes of gratuitous nudity.

Its greatness is based on how unexpected it is.
