The acting isnt brilliant, and the script is pretty cheesy but it is definately worth watching for Angela's dark humour.

Dull, unscary, blood-drenched film takes place mostly in the daytime, with Angela Baker (Springsteen) now posing as a camper.

Still, "Sleepaway Camp III" has its entertaining moments.

Lots of bloodflow and little else make up this mostly boring sequel, which demonstrates a surprising lack of soundtrack (or decent acting).

The gore factor and the villain's performance make this a winning slasher: fun, quick, gory, and entertaining.

Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland is a terrible 80's slasher that I thought was boring, lacking any sort of gore or pay-off, trying to be funny & failing & it features the worst killer in slasher history.

This motion picture is a beguiling attempt at deliberately altering a series from its once proud and intrinsically valuable beginnings into a banal end.

Angela's killings are unpredictable though, from giving a news reporter some highly corrosive Ajax cleaning powder and telling her it's cocaine to snort, to tying a snotty racist girl to a flagpole and dropping her to the ground.

Some great gore scenes also make the movie enjoyable.

But the whole Sleepaway Camp series struck me as so witless and boring that my only conclusion is that it must either be a prodigious disaster six movies long or I am just not into this crap anymore.

While I'm a fan of the "Friday the 13th" films, I actually find the straight-to-video thrills of Angela more entertaining.

All of which sounds like fun, but actually gets pretty tiresome very quickly.

the early to mid 90s I loved critter/gremlin movies.. I watched all the ones I could get my hands on.. Ghoulies (all the way up to 3, or maybe 4), the fantasy adventure Troll, the House movies.. the only real cult horror films I'd experienced were Texas Chainsaw 2, Re-Animator (very vivid memories of it from watching it back on cable at some point), and Phantasm 2 (the ball, which later prompted me to rediscover it and pick up both at Best Buy.. eventually 3 and 4 off the internet).. That was my basis for horror.. then 2000 came, where I went crazy at the video rental place.. chose horror flicks at random.. sitting through dreadful crap like Subspecies and Puppet master.. but making it also to the good stuff, which made it worth it, like the Hellraiser flicks (all five of which I now own on tape, and will the 6th when it comes out.. cause, even a bad Hellraiser is far more entertaining than most other 'good' horror flicks..) ..I also went to Phantasmania, which was a great experience.. got to meet Don Coscarelli, Reggie Bannister, and Angus Scrimm, and getting my 4 Phantasm movies signed by each...

Part 2 and 3, however, both have yawn-inducing endings, and personally I have no interest in finding out about parts 4, 5, or 6....

The script by Fritz Gordon mixes horror & comedy with slightly more emphasis on comedy which is it's first mistake, it's second mistake is that it's incredibly dull, predictable, unoriginal & is poor even by 80's slasher film standards (OK, that's mistakes three, four & five as well).

I even enjoyed watching the bad ones, because it is so entertaining to see what kinds of new and interesting ways they come up with for killing promiscuous teenagers.

As it is, it's still entertaining.

There is virtually NO plot, nothing exciting happens, no questions are answered (i.

Dull, unscary, blood-drenched film .

Part 1 does have its moments, but its overly dull and hard to sit through.

She's very entertaining too - her voice and demeanour are often captivating.

A bit of a pointless movie.

Not as good as the past two movies, but still above average and worth watching.

Even Angela looked bored throughout this.

"Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland" is a lame slasher with no story and only a brainless stupidity with senseless killing.

This is an entertaining straight-to-video horror flick that moves at a good pace and features strong performances from all involved.

Oh please, talk about a movie with no imagination, they should have stopped this movie after the first one, take my word for it, this cheap flick will make you ill just by how uninteresting the movie is.

Marcia is somewhat of a annoying and tedious charactor she gets it together with mexican guy Tony and forgets to mention to him she's already got a boyfriend, injuring our hero Angela isnt a smart move either.

With some snappy one-liners, a dark sense of humour and some amusing scenes, this is a recommended genre film.

Simpson (Sleepaway Camp 2:Unhappy Campers) made an uninspired but watchable dumb slasher horror movie with an enjoyable performance by Springsteen.

"Sleepaway Camp III:Teenage Wasteland" is extremely fun slasher comedy with some very entertaining characters and pretty high body count.

Sleepaway Camp III is a dull and stupid slasher that I don't get why slasher fans like it, the killings this time round are quite dull, but the one Angela placing a rap tape in the tape player of her next victim was enjoyable and quite funny.

part III has cool death scenes, and it's entertaining.

More Like "Waste of Time".

Sleep Away Camp III is a pretty decent horror movie, I bought it, I watched it, and I enjoyed it.

See it if you want but it is the biggest waste of time that you can never get back.

I'm telling you, these are some of the most entertaining horror films I've seen, and I've seen A LOT!!!
